Well organised snowmobile experience. Great briefing by Yannick. I never felt, at any point, I didnt know what to do. So beautiful, riding on the frozen river taking in the scenery and wildlife. This experience will live for me forever. It was nice to experience going full speed on these incredible machines. With a bit of respect for the danger, you can have a lot of fun. The acceleration of the machines was a highlight for me as well as seeing the sle dogs at their camp. The views were incredible too. Thanks again Yannick. See more..

The snow igloo experience was amazing. The traditional Finnish sauna and the bath in the frozen lake were experiences we'll never forget. We made a very good choice with the traditional dinner - it's well worth it. The atmosphere in the LR Saloon is intimate and so friendly. And the scenery is like in a fairy tale. We enjoyed it a lot. We booked with Mia, the owner, at very short notice. We had a spare day in Pyha and sent her a message having found a small reference to her farm in Lonely Planet. I'm so glad we did. From the very first email Mia was lovely and very welcoming. We booked a private horse ride for the next day. Mia's farm is charming and easy to get to from the main road between Pyha and Kemijarvi. As we drove into the farm there were two reindeer chilling in the snow. We rounded a corner and met Mia who welcomed us to her farm with open arms and carried us away in her passion for Finnish horses. Mia introduced us to our rides for the day and we set out into a snow covered winter forest where she pointed out various animal tracks and gave us a little history. Such a fabulous experience, I highly recommend booking with Mia and will visit again on our next trip! Especially if her exciting plans come to fruition :) Thanks Mia! See more..

We went to Akaslompolo with Lapland Travel in January 2020. Everything was perfectly taken care of. Every activity was organised and even the extra activities fitted the travelscheme perfectly. The travelguides were pleasant people and always down for a chat and most importantly, always there to answer your questions. I would totally recommend to travel with Lapland Travel! We had a tour of the farm at perhaps the worst possible conditions - it was -32C and the five-year old had not experienced nearly as severe colds before causing a sort of shock to her. The host, however, saved the day by his uplifting and friendly attitude and behaviour. It was a visit to be treasured in our minds. See more..
