Magic snowshoe night tour
During our 1 week stay in Lapland we (4 people from Germany) booked a private snowshoe night tour with Pihka Outdoors. Joona was a fabulous guide and everything was well organized. We walked on a private path and felt like being pushed into the movie of ‚cronicles of Narnia‘. Trees full of snow looking like little creatures, untouched nature , snow glittering like diamonds and pearls. Joona was not tired to look out for northern lights which we finally did. We will be back and would 100 percent again book a tour with pihka . It was an unforgettable awesome experience.

Ylläs-Pallas National Park with Pihka Outdoors
We were a group of seven adults (age range 30 - 74 years) and one 2 year old toddler. Most of us were Irish first timers in Lapland. We all went canoeing with Joona and his assistant on the Lake Pallasjärvi, and it really was a great adventure, since most of us had never done it before. We were very well informed about the gear before the trip and were taught how to paddle safely. We also went hiking in Pallastunturi with him, and later he gave us a fine lesson about how to take photographs of the Northern lights. Joona is an unbelievably skillful wilderness guide: he is self-possessed, convivial, an excellent organizer, a very pleasant person to have conversations with, and he treated each of us so well. He made us feel safe and happy, and we learned so many things about the Northern nature from him. We'll cherish the fond memories and hope to go back some day and have more great adventures with Pihka Outdoors!

Hetta-Pallas hiking route, 5 days
After a winter experience with Pihka Outdoors, we decided to come back to Lapland in summer and do a trekking with Joona. Everything was awesome, we had all the info in advance and Joona, more than a guide, was a great friend during the path. The organisation was brilliant, we just had to wear our hiking clothes, put the backpack on our shoulders and experience wild Lapland! Joona has a great experience, he explained us a lot, from flowers and plants to birds, he taught us how to start a fire and told as a lot of stories about his adventures. He is also a great chef, preparing us all the meal, even if he was worried of having two Italians guest, everything was more than good! We saw great landscapes, reindeers were with us all the time, food was great and sleeping in the tents in the middle of the forest was awesome. We also had the chance to see northern lights, but not so strong since the sky at night was still bright. We definitely enjoyed any moment of our five days, thank you Pihka Outdoor, we will come back again! Valeria & Luca
