    It wasn't long ago I remember the farmer's market being composed of ugly quilted bags and homemade seed bead bracelets. Now the quality of hand made items, the diversity of sellers, the diversity of food and drink makes it hard for me to believe I'm in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The downtown farmer's market truly showcases the best of the best here and you can always expect something new and diverse. I only wish that it was held more often so that the foot traffic isn't so awful. See more..

The farmer's market is on Tuesday's from 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm on the town square. There are tables at which to eat on the plaza next to the bell tower( open for self-guided tours until 4:00).
