My wife and I have visited multiple times. We've been to some of the live concerts with the large crowds and also on quiet Sundays where there is no crowd. Regardless the grounds are really nice and every staff member we have ever encountered are as friendly as they come. From the parking attendant, who gave us free tickets to one of the concerts, to the the ladies behind the bars in the winery, brewery, and distillery. They all seem to take an interest in you as a customer and not just another person they are serving. All of their products we have sampled have been excellent. The concert series is great fun but going on a nice quiet Sat/Sun afternoon on a beautiful day with your chairs, a picnic, and your own music is just as enjoyable. Again, the staff plays a big part in contributing to the good time.See more..

4.5Country Heritage Winery & Vineyards(80 reviews) - The Brianna Semi-Sweet for the win Thursday: 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Wineries & Vineyards
Fairly cool place off the side of the highway, if you like wineries. Tasting is 5 samples for $5, so a pretty cheap buzz. Relatively good wine flavors, they seem to excel with their Semi-Sweet wines (specifically the Brianna). The sweet wines were a little too sugary in my opinion. This is coming from someone who likes sweet wine too. Nice atmosphere, they have a cool fountain. Carter served us and did an excellent job at that. See more..

Conveniently located in Southern Indiana, this place is a must stop. We enjoyed the wines they offered. The wine slushes were top notch. The winery offers 8 tastings for $10.00. On the weekend, it even includes a bowl of soup. The atmosphere is very relaxing. The room was very nice. The Jacuzzi tub was relaxing and there was no shortage of hot water. It was nice to be able to stay overnight after an evening of drinking. Please make sure you check this place out. We were told that during the summer you should expect longer waits, due to the proximity of the lake. If you are looking for a winter destination, make sure you book a room here. See more..
4.5Peace Water Winery(56 reviews) - Good wine and they give to charity! Wineries & Vineyards
Loved the relaxed venue, the friendly host, the good wine and the amazing concept of donating half their net profit to charity. All tips don’t go to the pourers, they go in a bucket of your choosing for the charity on the donating wall you want to support. So cool. The wine was good, but the Zinfandel was the best...to me! That said, our group was big and everyone was pretty happy. VictorB See more..
4.5Hopwood Cellars Winery(50 reviews) - Great little winery! Thursday: 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM Wineries & Vineyards
WELCOME! Ron Hopwood, owner and Wine Maker for Hopwood Cellars Winery, has been producing awesome wines since 1994. A trade he works to perfect, and continues to bring only the finest, award winning wines to the customer. When Hopwood Cellars Winery opened its doors on June 5, 2012, in Zionsville Indiana, it was quickly noticed by the consumer that these wines were not average, but are superior wines. Ron, with his wife Janet and a full staff, search out the best grapes from vineyards in Indiana, Ohio and Michigan. When asked what sets his great wines apart from others, "I produce wines with a very strict regiment, with grapes sourced only from this region, local is very important". What started out as a hobby, has grown very quickly into a large business that has definitive plans for future growth. Cheers! Ron started working out the details to open the winery. After much thought and research Ron and Janet found the perfect location. Hopwood Cellars Winery is located in the Village of Zionsville at 12 E Cedar St. Downtown Zionsville offers brick paved streets with a variety of wonderful shops, restaurants and galleries. You can park on the street and walk through the beautiful town, shopping or just sight seeing. At Hopwood Cellars Winery you can step up to the wine bar and taste the wines that were made with local Midwest grapes, many from Indiana. You can purchase by the glass and relax with us or by the bottle. So come on by the cellar and pick up a bottle of fine wine for your next occasion. Drink wine, and you will sleep well. Sleep, and you will not sin. Avoid sin, and you will be saved. Ergo, drink wine and be saved.See more..

While returning from a mother daughter trip with my adult daughters, we saw the billboard for winery/cheesery. It was easy access off the highway and great signage. We were welcomed as soon as we walked in by Beth, Darcy, and Sarah. They were fantastic. Not only did we samples the wines, but also a sampler cheese tray they make also. It all was very tasty. My girls topped off their tasting with a wine slushie which didn't last long. Beth even explain the Indiana wine trail....I never knew. The winery also has a summer series with live music. 4.5Running Vines Winery(27 reviews) - Excellent food, wine, and slushees. Dog friendly too. Thursday: 11:30 AM - 10:00 PM Spent < 1 hour Wineries & Vineyards
Running Vines was a short walk from our lodging, and given that we stopped there after our 1st choice, the wine tasting in the park, was sold out, we definitely made the right choice. We had our little dog with us, so we assumed we'd have to sit in the street patio area, but she was allowed inside with us. We ordered a fiore salad and split it, and also got the antipasto plate. Both were reasonably priced and were more than enough for the two of us as well as being delicious. My wife had a malbec (and bought a bottle to take with us) and I had a cider. Both were great, and out of curiosity I had a wine slushee (The Good Witch) and it was so good I had another. Running Vines was a highlight of our two night stay in Chesterton. We will definitely go again if we are in the area.See more..

My boyfriend really liked the Malbec that was made using four roses bourbon oak barrels. Very fun and funky little place. If you are in the area you should definitely check it out!! See more..
Arrived for a Saturday afternoon on the wooded hillside enjoying a live band and local wine. The winery staff was very informative and helpful. The owner and his wife Micky mingled and made it a nice outing.See more..
5.0Butler Winery(22 reviews) - Great little winery! Spent < 1 hour Wineries & Vineyards
We were enroute to Michigan and decided to make a stop at the Butler Winery. AWESOME place!! Our server gave us generous pours, and a wealth of information about the wines which were great. I can honestly say there really wasn't one of them we tried that we didn't like, and that is rare. Just wished they weren't sold out of a few so we could try them as well. It's hard to find good tasting dry white wines in some areas of the midwest, but Butler definitely has done it. The dry and off-dry whites were amazing as were the fruit wines.
