Can't believe I haven't done a TA review here, our son has been to at least 6 Birthday parties here (3 were his own) and we've always had a good time and never been disappointed. The range of activities is broad enough that you shouldn't be bored at all, two outdoor go cart tracks, two indoor tracks, mini bowling (it's a blast), miniature golf, tons of video games, etc etc. Plus food (the pizza isn't bad), ice cream soda etc. It's standard for places like this to be staffed by teenagers, and this place is no different. Most times we've been there I'd be surprised if anyone was over 21. But the quality of the staff is outstanding, they're all very helpful and friendly, and birthday parties get assigned a coordinator that basically does everything and organizes the kids. We had to do very little the last time we went, and the cost was negligible. Love it, will continue having birthday parties up through my son's teens. See more..

The carousel was open today from 1-5pm. I only knew because of a post on Facebook. The beautifully restored animals are stationary so no up and down motion. If you sit on an animal on the very outside you can then try your luck at grabbing the rings from an extended metal arm. Get the gold/brass tone ring and you get a pass for a free ride! This carousel is enclosed so you aren’t in the elements. Be sure to visit and enjoy this local treasure!See more..

Super fun way to spend time together inside on a very hot day. We didn’t do the arcade as it looked like most games were $1.10-$1.25 each to play, but we enjoyed a round of mini golf. The monsters aren’t scary, and the black lights make it different from your usual mini golf experience. I have been to White River several times with my sons (ages 10 and 11), and we have always had a great time. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The refs have run the games well, are safety conscious, and have always been fair. When there are enough players the refs will splint the groups into experienced and new players which has been really good for my kids. We usually bring our own gear, but I have rented equipment there and found it to be well maintained. The prices are comparable to other fields in the state. You have to buy their paintballs, and there is a large mark up on paint. However, it is in line with what other fields charge. Lots of stations to fill your tanks with high pressure air and fills are free. Nice pro shop. Clean rest rooms. They sell drinks and snack food in the pro shop. However, they don't mind if you bring your own food so my family usually packs a cooler with sodas and sandwiches to save money.See more..

We got to Climb Lafeyette around 12:30 on a Wednesday. The only one there was an employee. To my family, that is perfect conditions! We have 2 autistic sons, and we never know how they will respond to the environment. One of my sons loved it. He climbed the basic bouldering wall, several times. He enjoyed climbing with the auto-belay system, usually climbing a 1/3 of the wall, then hopping off and auto-belaying back down, to do it, again. My other son tried a little, but was happier to lie around on the thick cushions, and with the absence of other climbers, this wasn't a problem. My teenager and I really enjoyed competing on the timed wall, and trying some of the ridiculously hard bouldering areas. Note: this is a great place if you've never done rock climbing before, because you have the opportunity to climb both with and without a rope belay and harness. We were traveling through the area on the way to Michigan, when we ran across this hobby shop and RC Park. My boys just recently started with RC cars. We spent the afternoon driving RC cars in their indoor arena and outdoor tracks. It was $10 for the entire day. You can also rent RC cars to drive for $15 dollars. This skating facility has been in the area for decades. It is very clean and very well ran. The owner gave us a discount because we showed up 30 minutes before they closed and only charged us 5 bucks. That was very awesome. My only complaint is the business hours seem to change too much and it makes it confusing for someone traveling 30 minutes away. I arrived based on the hours on Google and they were not correct. The sign looked like they changed hours frequently and this is not how I would run it but glad to have the facility in the area.See more..
