Wonderful experience! We chose the 1 hour and 45 minute ride- Grandpa Jeff wasn’t stingy with the time either. Horses were ready and nicely trained. Trails had a nice set of mixed terrain and were beautiful. Everyone was nice and friendly. This really was the best riding experience we’ve had so far and the easiest on the budget! We absolutely LOVE Natural Valley Ranch!!! I grew up as a horse crazy little girl. I started riding at 8 years old and I had my own horse by the time I was 12. I have always lived in the city (Indianapolis) and we boarded my horse in Martinsville. Later in my teens, due to circumstance, I had to give up my horse, but I never stopped loving them. Now I am grown and have three daughters of my own who are just as horse crazy as I was. Imagine finding such a wonderful place as Natural Valley Ranch (in Brownsburg) just a short 20 minute drive from our house on the west side of Indianapolis! Our girls love playing with the goats and the miniature horses, and ESPECIALLY the free pony rides! Last summer, we took them on their very first trail ride, and they have been itching to go back ever since. We plan on starting lessons soon and hope to board our their future first horses/ponies at Natural Valley Ranch. We can't wait to come back and see you all again!See more..
My husband and I went to Crooked Creek for a 30 minute ride on our weekend getaway. My husband has never been on a horse and was kind of nervous. They did an amazing job making him feel comfortable. The trails were so peaceful and beautiful that my husband declared we MUST go back tomorrow for an hour ride!!!! Can't wait!!!See more..
We had a wonderful time on our carriage ride through downtown Noblesville last Christmas. It was a truly memorable experience. The carriage was very elaborately decorated and the horse was so big and majestic. It was something out of a story book and i got to experience it with my family. This is going to be a new family tradition for us. The carriage drivers were very courteous and they made us feel welcome. Love, love, love this place and everything they do!See more..
Deka Di has become a great annual tradition for our summer stay at Lake Wawasee. The horses are well groomed, and Kathy and her team do a great job of matching the horses with the riders in terms of experience level and age. Our daughters (ages 9 and 12) have loved it. I've also taken my parents in their seventies, and they loved it too. The farm is beautiful, with a mix of woods and meadows for the ride. Prices are very reasonable; just make sure to call a few days before to make a reservation. July 2022 was our third outing at Deka Di. We'll be back next year for sure.See more..
