The venue is well laid out and the sound, for an outdoor venue was top notch. My only complaint would be the prices of alcoholic beverages. I understand about making a profit, but these prices are higher than anything I’ve ever seen, by a long shotSee more..

We just saw the Color Purple but have seen other Broadway plays like Hairspray , Stomp, Famous comedians, Hometown Heather Headley with a special pass to have a glass of wine with her backstage ,the Fort Wayne Orchestra( most excellent) etc etc We even rented part of the theater and Ballroom for a daughter’s wedding with a rooftop bar-magical in many ways! Supporting this theater or taking in any show should be on your bucket list. Just saw Scotty McCreary was in town tonight. A Fort Wayne gem for sure!See more..

IRT is now requiring proof of vaccination or negative test- even for children ages 4-11. What a shame that masks aren’t enough. Their play ‘A Christmas Carol’has always been such a blessing to our family. They are offering performances for vaccinated folks only. Perhaps they could offer some for the unvaccinated as well.See more..

Happiness is enjoying "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" on a Friday night at the Round Barn Theatre. Happiness is viewing the well-designed stage to fit the Peanuts characters. Happiness is seeing a musical that ranks with the professionals in big cities at a low price. Happiness is watching Matthew Ollson excellently understate the hapless, lovable Charlie Brown. Happiness is Erin Tierney strongly sing, dance, and act as the most "crabby" Lucy Van Pelt. Happiness is Caleb Shaw commanding the stage as Snoopy's The Red Barron in the second act. Happiness is Molly Hills' Sally Brown entertaining us with cuteness, clueless, and amazing musical and acting ability. Happiness is Matthew Maleck performing the Beethoven loving Schroder on tune. Happiness is Julio Ulaa, Jr., holding up Linus Van Pelt's blanket with wisdom and strength. Happiness is writing about a great theatre company in Nappanee, Indiana.See more..

5.0Honeywell Center(109 reviews) - Honeywell Center is our new venue! Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Theaters
My husband surprised me with tickets to see the Ten Tenors, a group from Australia! Needless to say we were completely entertained and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! They had a beautifully planned program on love songs, the good and the bad, comedy, opera, hilarious medleys, and great support from their pianist and drummer, and their routines were intermingled with dance steps and tons of energy. They all looked like they really love what they were doing. Never expected to enjoy Bee Gees and Figaro and other operatic pieces in the same show! The Honeywell center is very convenient. No bad seats. Concessions. Clean restrooms. We’ll definitely have a repeat here! Viewed their program which looks to have something for everyone. Appreciated Charley one of the hosts giving us some history and introducing us to the WVMA.See more..
The 49er is a great place to take in a couple movies, especially if you have kids. The Drive In experience is a dying thing, and it’s unfortunate. Throw some blankets in the back of the truck, drop the back seats in the mini van, break out your favorite folding chairs and get out there and enjoy the heck out itSee more..
The place isn't that big, so most of the seats are pretty good. We've seen three concerts/shows there now and will definitely go again when they have somebody we want to see. We like to go and have dinner, and do a little gambling before the show. Also, the parking is free, so that is nice.See more..

5.0Historic Artcraft Theatre(74 reviews) - A must for film buffs Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Movie Theaters
We drove 95 miles from West Lafayette for the Friday matinee showing of “All Quiet On the Western Front” from a 35 mm print much like it was originally shown almost 90 years ago. Where else can you do that? AND the volunteer effort has done an excellent job of programming such classic films to show throughout the year. You enjoy those films in an Art Deco theater (ongoing restoration) that is part of a larger community restoration effort. In addition to a refurbished courthouse square just a block from the theater, you’ll notice a new “gateway” approach to Franklin as you exit I-65. Prices for movies and concessions are very reasonable and you’ll be served by friendly volunteers who seem to really enjoy what they’re doing. I even noticed they were sorting popcorn kernels to ensure the best popcorn! And it was fresh and delicious. Where else do you get that? And for the true movie buff, tickets are printed specific to the show, not the generic printout that’s common today.See more..
This iconic Terre Haute landmark opened on January 28, 1922, and occupies a special place in American theatre architecture design. The Theatre was built by Terre Haute resident T.W. Barhydt to be a lasting gift to the city of Terre Haute and it was designed by America’s preeminent designer John Eberson to be his first prototype “Atmospheric Theatre” which became his signature style that is recognized to be the gold standard of American theatre design. Throughout its rich history, the Theatre has hosted a wide range of events that have included vaudeville, cinema, performing arts and community celebrations of all types. Through restoration efforts which began in May 2013, the Indiana Theatre’s heritage has been preserved and the Indiana has been reborn as a 1,600 seat full service event center which can host a wide range of community gatherings that include live entertainment, performing arts, cinema, wedding events, and fundraisers. While visiting our proud and historic city, we encourage you to visit this downtown treasure which has served as a vault for Terre Haute memories since 1922.See more..

I attended the Jim Cuddy concert here. Staff were super friendly and very competent In following COVID-19 protocols. Cars In all rows were spaced out and trucks asked to park in the back. This made for clear visibility of the stage and larger screen no matter where you were parked. Thanks for an extremely memorable, fun filled evening of beautiful music.Kudos to all of you who made this happen!See more..
We enjoyed a afternoon/evening watching 3 movies in a row; 4:30, 7 and 10:15 pm. Two of the movies were no longer playing in our town, so this presented a nice way to catch up on some missed viewings. The facility is clean and well-maintained; and the staff were friendly and helpful. The $1 hotdogs provided a tasty (and suprisingly affordable) treat between the last 2 movies. There is a nice selection of beverages from which to choose; at the usual cinema prices. Marion is fortunate to have this movie theater as an option. See more..

3.0Cinemark Movies 6(25 reviews) - Thrifty theater in Mishawaka/ South Bend Movie Theaters SELECT "Past their prime" movies at a thrifty price. Have seen many good movies their that I was NOT willing to spend $6-$10 on when they first came out. $1.50 for a matinee and only a $2 upcharge for 3D. If you can be patient- sometimes worth it to take the chance that it will show up here. I would STRONGLY advise wearing long shorts/ long pants and a long sleeve shirt. I do not think it is the most clean theater- when talking about the seats. Picture and sound are always better than acceptable!See more..

Regal Theatres are near where I live and have a good variety of newly released movies on one of 16 screens. No longer have senior discount but with a rewards card points can be earned for a variety of free items. Matinees are never crowded for those that can manage that time of day. Theaters are some times a bit cool so if that is a problem, be sure to take a sweater. Wide array of refreshments available for those wishing to purchase them but as expected, they are a bit pricey.See more..
4.5Springs Stadium 4(23 reviews) - Lovely Little Theater Movie Theaters This was our first visit to the theater, but we had heard about it for a long time. Our server at a restaurant in French Lick also raved about it to us when she heard we were going. It was small, but the perfect size. People were relaxed and laughing out loud during the funny flick, unlike in the theater in my hometown. My husband loved the ice pellets in the drinks. $12 for 2 for a matinee, $10 for a medium combo (your choice of 3 items - drinks, candy, popcorn, pretzel bites). 3-D movies are also offered. Friendly staff.See more..

Two medium drinks and a medium popcorn for just $8.00. The large combo is $9.85 but my wife and I find the medium to be plenty. Where slse is there a nice clean theatre where two adults can see a first run movie with popcorn and drinks for twenty dollars or less?See more..

4.5Lincoln Amphitheatre(20 reviews) - Outdoor Amphitheater with Class! Thursday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Theaters
Most excellent venue in an out of the way place. The acoustics and the size are perfect for watching any kind of cultural event, from plays to concerts. The food and alcohol served are good and reasonably priced. On popular event nights, if you have to park in the overflow (which is not a terrible walk, but may be far for some) they will run golf carts to pick you up. We happened to be in the area for a show, but if there's someone or something we would like to see that's here, it's worth the 2 hour drive for us. Very pleasantly surprised. Highly recommend if you're in the area.See more..

First time here, very security oriented! Clean place, drinks $9 & beers $6, standard. Saw LOS LONELY BOYS, amazing seats on the floor level. Well behaved & respectful crowd. A lot of staff available & keeping things clean. Seats are folding chairs, not the best or worst I’ve sat on but the prices are right! Very good acoustics. Had a wonderful time. So how many universities have a world class opera house? Not sure, but this is one of them. We have been attending operas here since we attended IU in the 70s, and attend any time we can. Here is the difference - easy to get reasonably priced tickets with great seats, a relaxed crowd, and student performers that put more emotion into their roles than you set at the Met, NYC, Or Santa Fe. This past week we took opera novice IU students to see Suor Angelica and Gianni Schichi and they loved it. So did we. Don’t miss this place.See more..
First time visitor to attend a concert, really like the feel and decor of this theatre, I do agree, it is in some need for updates and the seats are very tightly squeezed together, which leaves no elbow room and makes it difficult to let folks leave their seats etc. We had no problem with vending or obtaining drinks, several locations and not long lines. The Theatre is very accessible and easy in/out with parking beside the Theatre and across the street in a parking garage. Will come back again to see a favorite.See more..

Christmas Schooner Drove from Chicago toSouth Bend to see the Christmas Schooner. A wonderful play at the Civic Theater. First the Civic theater is a gem and beautifully refurbished. The former church is comfortable, visually perfect and no seat is a bad seat. The Christmas Schooner is a perfect story for this time of year. This performance was excellent. The main characters all did a very good job. The character of Opa spoke near perfect German. The 2 nd half had me in tears numerous times. Well Done !!!! I’ll be making a trip from Chicago again. A very good Community theatre and actors. It should packed every night. See more..
2.5Showland Theatre(11 reviews) - This place is complete crap! Theaters First walk in oh look there's an atm, nope, it's been "out of order" since the day they put it in, just for looks. A ticket counter, cash only!!! A very overpriced concession stand, they except debit and credit cards for their 5.00 twizzlers. All run by teenagers.... Oh look a pop machine, which is over priced and all the cap are colored with a sharpie. The theaters is so so, always had good time watching the movie, bathrooms are gross... note these people also own the drive in theater where they search your vehicle, yep that's right, they sure do... This place can suck that ring pop... I'll drive an extra hour out of town and give my money to someone else.See more..
