Today was the Jeffersonville Sidewalk Sale so a visit to Schimpff’s seemed appropriate. Believe it or not this business is 131 years old. There’s are old museum pieces in the back that are worth a look. They were also making candy while I was there. That was interesting watching third(maybe 4th)generation of Schimpff’s demonstrating the art of making cinnamon hot drops. There were more people there than shopping at the sidewalk sale. Their candy can be a little more pricey but it’s quality candy to be sure. See more..

A personal tour of the Annie Oakley Perfumery is an enchanting experience. From the moment you walk in the door you will feel at home by the cheery greeting accompanied with sweet treats. The charming story of how it all came together will inspire you to design your very own fragrance. By the time you're ready to leave their coupons, free samples, and warm goodbyes will leave you teary eyed and hoping to return soon. Bring a friend or two and enjoy the experience together. 4. 5.0 Jayco (5 reviews)
    - Great trip to the Jayco visitor center

I decided to take a tour of the Jayco facility since o own a Jayco Melbourne. I drove up with my RV since they have parking for RVs at the visitor center. I registered for the tour ahead of time and had to fill out a waiver. You also have to wear closed toe shoes for the tour. There are trailers outside of the visitor center that you can tour. They also have a small gift shop with Jayco gifts if you want to purchase any. The tour started with a 5 minute video on the history of Jayco. Then our tour guide John (who was absolutely funny) took us on a short trolley ride around the Jayco facility and we were able to tour plant 41 where the class C RVs are put together. You can’t take any pictures or video on the tour. The tour lasted about an hour and 50 minutes and there is no AC in the warehouse. Luckily it was a cooler day so hear wasn’t an issue. Overall I was happy with the tour and thought it was interesting how they put together the RVs in various stages. See more..
