    My family did a 2 hour ride with Shay today and we could not have had a better time. Everyone at OK Trading Post was so nice and Shay went out of her way to connect with each of us. She stopped multiple times to point out interesting features in the beautiful forest and we could tell that she really loves what she does. She even found my lost phone on her next ride after us. The horses were all gentle and well trained. The petting zoo animals were an added bonus. We will definitely be back to visit when we are in the area again. See more..

    This is a great family activity for those who love horses and are not afraid of the woods. the trails are rustic and peaceful. These trails are in the mountain area so expect some ridge riding and climbing on the longer trails. The guides are knowledgeable about the vegetation in the area, pointing out interesting sights along the trail. They also have hay & wagon rides for the younger kids. This is a working ranch so call in advance for reservations. Prices are reasonable & horses are in good health. They offer 1, 2 & 3 hour rides. Unless you are familiar with long riding, do only the 1 or 2 hour ride. For those who seek moderate to strenuous activities, don't miss the 3 hour ride. See more..
