Rose Schweikhart has always been obsessed with suds. An early love of music blossomed during her childhood in Morristown, NJ leading to degrees in classical Tuba from Connecticut College in New London, Connecticut, and the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, England. During her year living and travelling abroad, Rose fell in love with the beers of Germany, England, and Belgium. Home brewing experimentations were early attempts to recreate those traditional beer styles. In 2011, Rose moved to Hot Springs, Arkansas with an impossibly big dream: to brew beer commercially using the city's famous 144 degree spring water. She formed a company and began the arduous two year negotiation to lease a historic former-bathhouse in the heart of Hot Springs National Park from the federal government. Construction began in late spring of 2013 and today, the Superior Bathhouse is home to the only brewery in a US National Park and the only brewery in the world to utilize thermal spring water in their beer. Rose considers beer to be a creative process. Like the varied timbers and dynamics one can coax from a tuba, grains, hops, and yeast offer an endless creative pallet, and create she does. Rose and the Superior Bathhouse brewing team crank out a constant stream of new beer from the original to the outlandish. If you ever find yourself in Arkansas, please stop by the Superior and experience #HotSpringsOnTap for yourself!See more..

We love tastings and decided to pop into Eureka Springs Brewery right after Keels Creek Winery, just down the road. Don't let the sketchy motel being torn down scare you away! The brewery has plenty of parking out front and masks were required indoors when we visited. We talked over the menu and tap options with the bartender and spent $9 on the four samples pictured. I enjoyed the Hefeweizen fine but my boyfriend really didn't like his Brown Ale. The back porch was spacious and the view was expansive and gorgeous. There is frisbee golf and cornhole set up in front of large trees. Would definitely come back our next time in town, they had more on tap I'd like to try.See more..

4.5Norfork Brewing Co(15 reviews) - An oasis in the hills Tuesday: Breweries
Stopped here on our way to Sylamore Creek. Their beer is great and the guys running it were very friendly and accommodating. We came during the covide scare, so there was only curbside service at the time. Looks as though it would be a great place to hang out when things get back to normal. The EZ Ryder lager and the Scurvy Dog IPA were our favorites. See more..

(Shirts, growlers, glassware) They offer tasting flights for about 7 bucks. Free, delicious popcorn. About a dozen of their own beers on tap. Small space that offers limited space at the bar, a few tables, and a small outdoor deck. Friendly staff. Our favorite was the scottish ale. Good luck with your new business.
