We decided to hike/walk King’s Bluff along hwy 16. It can be found off the pedestal loop area. There is a sign for Pedestal Rock. It is in the same location. It was 1.7 miles RT and a fairly easy hike with a few minor spots of incline. I would not recommend this to anyone with young kids. There are many drop off points with no rail about 1/2 way. The path is mostly away from the edge, but very easy for young kids to get hurt. Awesome rock formations as you walk along…. Starts about 1/2 way. You will come to a big rock platform/decking area. As you work on your return back the formations continue, but without a railing for a little ways. Worth seeing if in the area. See more..
