When you think of the North Sea you picture harbors with traditional fishing boats. The Greetsieler Hafen is that image. The day we came, there were boats lined up on either side of the harbor. A few boats were just coming in from a day of fishing. Along the harbor, there are cute shops and restaurants to explore. I absolutely love this town, highly recommended. See more..

This is truly one of the quaintest fishing harbours on the North Sea of Germany. There are a number of restaurants and hotels right on the water's edge - as I write one of the major hotels is being rebuilt. There is a bronze statue of two fishermen looking out over the fishing boats. The funny thing is that the one statue of the fisher leaning over looking out across all the boats has a shiny spot on his bottom. I don't know why but so many people go up to this statue and tap him on the backside. It's a thing somehow. See more..

Wir sind über den Rundwanderweg an den alten Hafen gekommen.Entlang der Kanone und des Aussichtsturmes. Es ist ein kleiner netter romantischer Hafen. Es lagen mehrere Schiffe hier. Wir haben uns von hier aus Richtung Innenstadt orientiert die keine 2 Minuten entfernt waren. See more..
