Dieses Haus ist das erste Haus weltweit, das richtig herum errichtet und dann mit Hilfe von zwei Kranen gedreht wurde. Die komplette Einrichtung, wie z.B. Visited Dankern for the first time and I have never seen a place with so much to do. The list is endless, and a huge amount is free to entrance holders. A remarkable difference between Ireland (where I live) and Dankern is the attitude to Health&Safety: there you are assumed to be able to be responsible for yourself and your children’s actions and decisions. The play areas are very lightly supervised, guests are expected to respect the equipment and other guests. There are special areas for tinies and older kids, but the guests seem to respect these boundaries without supervision. If you fall, you fall: next time you’ll be more careful, ie it’s not seen as the fault (an insurance claim) of the management. It really highlighted to me what a nanny state we live in. What freedom. Have been going here as a kid in the 1980s, and now with kids of my own, I returned. It is a rather quiet place, partly worn down, but for me that is part of the charm. The people working there are very friendly and open. Don't know why they had to rebrand it "Magic Park", they should have kept the old name "Märchenpark", as that is what it is. Be sure to visit the mechanized walk with Grimm's stories. Don't need to visit the Magic Show, the music is just too damn loud.See more..

Lovely park for kids up to 10 in my view. Pretty much everything that is on offer can be tried by pre-teen kids - much better value for money than larger parks like Heide Park. Embedded into beautiful nature in the middle of nowhere. Make sure to bring swimming wear for the small ones given that a number of fun rides require them to get rather wet!See more..

Old and worn. A sad experience. I had a great time in Märchenwald many years ago. But the place has totally lost its magic. And I cannot believe the food they served! We ordered a sausage with bread and got a deep fried sausage with plain toast bread! - who would eat that?! Do german people even eat that?!See more..

Freizeitpark Park Hodenhagen - ein wunderbarer, großer Platz für die Kinder und Erwachsene für mehrere Tage, weil ein Tag reicht nicht alle Attraktionen auszuprobieren. Der Freizeitpark zu sollte man früh (ab 11:00 Uhr) besuchen, weil Nachmittag ist er meisten voll. Vormittag braucht man fast nicht warten. Die Kinderattraktionen waren leer. Kinder ab 130 cm oder ab 8 Jahre dürfen auf alle Geschäfte mitfahren. Die Jahreskarte lohnt sich.See more..
