This chalky outcropping is the only natural high point in the area. There are a fair number of steps leading to the top, not the '1000 steps' as some people call this. Views from the top make the climb worth while, and if you have overdone with eating the local delicacies then this may work up an appetite. See more..

Sehr versteckt im Wald liegt an einem Hang der Findlingsring Breetze. Er ist von der Hauptstraße Lüneburg-Bleckede gut ausgeschildert.
Ich bin begeistert von den verschiedenen und verschieden großen Findlingen, die von Skandinavien hier heruntergewandert sind.
Die Gemeinde hat sie mit gut verständlichen Erklärungstafeln versehen.

Spent 1-2 hours Geologic Formations
This place can be found not too far from Helmstedt, next to the Gerdening society Pastorenweg and is accessible from B1. You will see a sign at the left side of the road when driving from Helmstedt in direction Konigslutter. There is a small parking lot, illogically behind a sign prohibiting entry of motor vehicles. Just a few steps further you will find two stone graves from Stone Age. Place is very well kept and makes a magical impression. It is incredibly photogenic. I am sure this was not my last visit.
