Vacation highlight!

My five person family participated in a small boat (8 person) whitewater rafting trip last week. Our party was made up of three adults and two teenagers. It was such a great adventure, so much fun!! The scenery was spectacular, and the rapids were just challenging enough to give all of us a rush, but we were certainly never scared. But we did get wet, which we expected! Ben was our guide, and he is the absolute best!! He kept us entertained with hilarious stories of prior trips, while educating us about the river and its history. You should request him if you get the chance! We don't have knowledge about the other local rafting businesses, but I strongly recommend booking with Lewis and Clark. It was a seamless production, and the staff were all very kind and enthusiastic, whether on the phone, driving the bus, or taking us down the river. If you're thinking about booking, do it now!

    Excellent Procedures for the Pandemic
We had a wonderful time on a small boat trip with our awesome guide Joe. He pointed out lots of wildlife for us and had us paddle over to them to get a closer look. He definitely added a lot of fun, energy, and knowledge to the whole experience! This company was very conscious about their operations during the coronavirus pandemic. All staff were wearing masks (including the guides while on the rafts), they required all guests to wear masks on the shuttle bus, they spaced families/groups apart on the bus for social distancing, and they allowed guests the option to drive their personal vehicles to the put-in location (so the only shuttle necessary was the 8 miles back from the take-out location to our vehicles). I would highly recommend them for the experience as a whole and also for their pandemic operations which had us at ease throughout our entire excursion.

    Awesome experience
My wife and I had never been white water rafting. Joe our guide really put us at ease with his humor and demeanor. He was not only funny but knew how to get us all to row together and angle the raft to make every splash count. They outfitted us in rubber suits and water boots that kept us fairly dry on the inside. He was apt to also point out local wildlife. This trip was the first time I saw a bald eagle flying in all his majesty. It was awesome!!! The River was high due to inclement weather. We were concerned that we would not have a good time due to the rainy conditions but the staff put us at ease saying thaat we would be getting wet anyway. It was great ride to the boat ramp. The staff explained everything clearly and thoroughly. We didn’t start until we had our gear on correctly. I felt totally safe and in control of our raft. I can’t wait until the next white water adventure. We were glad our guide didn’t tell us that he had dumped out 15 people already this year until AFTER the ride. He was really a great raft driver.
