4.5Upper Falls(322 reviews) - Great views; easy accessible Waterfalls
We were here in the third week of October as the park was closing down for the summer season. There are great views of the Upper Falls from both the N. Rim Rd. and the S. Rim Rd. There are trails that are very easy and accessible from the parking lots as well as longer hikes going down closer to the water and getting closer to the files.See more..
4.5Shell Falls(229 reviews) - Great stop ... always enjoy the falls. Waterfalls
Gorgeous waterfall and area! There are nice paved trails. Stairs to waterfall are steep but there are handrails. Wish they would go back and put up hummingbird feeders again. Used to enjoy the hummingbirds SO MUCH-used to stop every time we went by! Now lucky to see one... if any. Also hope they can redo some of the specimen plants that are ID'd along the trail. Cant comment on the visitor center..has never been open when we've been there. There were porta pottys last year in July when we were there.See more..
4.5Mystic Falls Trail(154 reviews) - Great hike, a little bit of a challenge but worth it Thursday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Hiking Trails • Waterfalls
This is a fantastic hike - challenging but not too difficult with amazing views. We even timed it to see Old Faithful go off when we were at the rope. Go to the right first (hardest part) and then come down to the gorgeous falls.See more..
If camping, you can't find a better place. This state park has two large camping areas and a picnic area, boat launching, and even tent sites with wind baffles to protect from strong winds coming down the North Fork of the Shoshone River. Wonderful views of the surrounding mountains; just 10 miles west of Cody and 40 miles east of Yellowstone.See more..
We got a semi early start and decided to hike the Jenny Lake Loop to Hidden Falls before the ferry opened (opened at 10am, decent line already at 9:15am). Our 6yr old had no problems with the trail and we arrived at the trail/dock junction with the second ferry. Hidden Falls was beautiful, even a little snow along the way. We also tackled Inspiration Point. We decided to take the ferry back (very little wait) and it was easy to pay for the one way when we returned. Great family hike!See more..
4.5Garden Creek Falls(59 reviews) - Fun drive there... pleased the teens! Spent 2-3 hours Waterfalls
The drive there was amazing and beautiful . Small bit of construction on the way but they had it set up smoothly. Once there it was a great walk around. Paved most of the areas so it was an easy walk. There were painters set up painting the falls. The girls loved watching that. See more..
5.0Popo Agie Falls Trail(25 reviews) - Great Hike and Beautiful Falls Spent More than 3 hours Hiking Trails • Waterfalls
We were visiting Lander for a wedding. One of our group was checking our hikes online and found the Popo Aggie Falls Trail and natural water slide. It was a very nice hike. It wasn’t too hard and there were not very many people at all. The water falls and views were all so beautiful. I have seen prettier falls but those were also busy. We only saw a handful of people on this hike. We made sue to hike to the natural water slide and took a slide ourselves. It was fun but the water was very cold. Felt nice to cool off but don’t stay in long.See more..
