    Devils Tower Trading Post image
After a disappointing visit to the inside the park gift shop at Devil's Tower (limited inventory with high prices), we decided to visit Devil's Tower Trading Post. It had a wide variety of items (including more alien themed items) and more reasonable prices. There was an ice-cream shop inside the post as well. There is a fairly large parking lot to accommodate most vehicles even if pulling something. The staff was very friendly. The Post offers some additional scenic views of Devil's Tower and photo opportunities. See more..

Homesteader Museum has something for all ages! Climb aboard a caboose, see firsthand how homesteaders lived, learn the real story of outlaw Earl Durand. The Homesteader Museum celebrates this rich 50-year history through thousands of artifacts, historic buildings and photographs depicting the domestic, entrepreneurial and rugged homesteading life of the early Big Horn Basin pioneer. Located in Powell, Wyoming, which was named after John Wesley Powell, the United States Explorer and Engineer who master-minded the Rocky Mountain dam system. The town became the center of the US Bureau of Reclamation's 1904 historic Shoshone Irrigation Project, which was one of the first federally funded irrigation and homesteading projects in the Rocky Mountain West. The last homestead drawings began after WWII when the Japanese American Heart Mountain Relocation Center closed in 1946. Land was available until 1950, making the Shoshone Project one of the longest homesteading projects in history. See more..

Located in the middle of no place, rodeo cowboy Tim Kellogg has a wonderful chocolateria. He is a creator of world-class chocolate truffles and other delights. A friend of mine from the Wyoming Arts Council suggested we stop here, and she could not have been right. - Longest Wait, Shoddiest Craftsmanship!
    Speciality & Gift Shops
After paying the initial deposit, I had to wait close to half a year for this professional to show up. When he did, he didn't even bother to apologize. He came and went as he felt like it, sometimes an hour, at other times, no show. Each time he showed up, he didn't wear any shoe covers. He trudged through the entire house with mud, dirt and soil. With each passing week, he took it even slower while doing even less. Despite being an established business, he only brought low graded materials to use for bathroom remodelling. He left me with the shoddiest craftsmanship like big hole in the bathroom wall, dried glue paste stretched from one corner end of the bathroom wall, hole in the bathroom door, scrapes and tears all over the bathroom floor.
