Really a Pleasant Surprise!

From the outside, this museum looks like a natural rock outcropping; inside this building lies some of the world's finest wildlife art.

    Lovely and important art collection.
A truly beautiful experience for all wildlife art lovers. The building is nestled onto a hill overlooking the winter elk refuge and there’s a generally feeling of serenity in the museum. My favorite art painting ever is there. On a down side a coach turned dispatching it’s people into the museum who all went straight to the restaurant and had no interest in the art. We couldn’t get a drink or food as they took up all the space and the restaurant was only open for a FEW SHORT HOURS CLOSING AT 2:30 !!! Amazing. How ridiculous. It should be open until near the closing time. I was going to become a member however I have reconsidered.

    Good Rainy Day Activity
If it hadn’t rained or snowed during our Grand Teton visit, we may not have visited. However, I’m glad we did! There are several rooms of art to admire, and the pieces were actually very interesting to ponder. I recommend taking a stop here if the weather doesn’t cooperate or if you appreciate art even a little bit.
