1st but not last time at a gun range
We went with two adults and a somewhat nervous 10 year old who had never been around guns. (I would not bring anybody younger and not bring anybody who won't be shooting.) We all had a fantastic time. We thought 3 hours might be too much but it went by quickly. Our instructor, Ben, was incredibly patient and attentive, not taking his eyes off the shooter for one moment, which was reassuring when our 10 year old was handling the guns. The other instructors near us were also a lot of fun. I would highly recommend this activity.

Awesome
Spectacular Day. The whole family was looking forward to this with bated breath, and we were not disappointed. Tony M took us through introductions, safety protocols and then we were into firing in no time. He was a superb instructor, friendly, courteous and a ‘natural teacher.’ Our boys enjoyed the pacing of the morning, leading up to the 600’ attempts. Tony’s explanation of the physics and ballistic effects of the various inputs was eye opening for the whole family. The ‘desert’ or ‘treats’ at the end of the AK and .50 was deserved punctuation. The afternoon served up more learning snd ‘doing’ at the pistol range, that again opened eyes and kept attention. My wife even enjoyed this part. Tyler joined Tony for this portion of the pm and they were perfect counterpoint to each other, with Tyler serving up softball for us to see Tony in action. Final portion of the day on clays with .12 and .20 gauge with stories, guidance and instruction from both. Elated boys. Would do it again in a heartbeat. Not the cheapest excursion in Jackson, but we’ll worth it!
