    Galderse Meren is an area with recreational lakes at the south of Breda. The recreation area is named after the nearby village of Galder. There are several sunbathing areas and sandy beaches here, which makes the Galderse Meren on sunny days a popular destination for local residents to go swimming, sunbathing, diving, (wind) surfing and to go for a walk with your dog (dogs are forbidden in the high season) .     Thank you TA for adding this nature reserve, it deserves a place here! De Roode Weel is a nature reserve located a few kilometers east of Steenbergen. It covers 41 hectares and is owned by the Brabant Landscape Foundation. The nature reserve is a remnant of a creeksystem in the Polder Cruijsland. Nature-friendly banks and pools were created in the first decade of the 20th century. Trenches were also dug according to the old pattern. There is a bird hide located at the bottom of the dike, accessible from the bicycle path, for birdspotting. See more..
