Excellent location for a hike.
We made a hike around one go the lakes, approx 15km on quiet country roads(almost no cars), parts are off-road. Beautiful nature.

Resort for relax with a lot of nature and water activities
Surprisingly good resort near german-dutch border,l much nature, water - half-dozen connected lakes with bridges, all in greens, sun, birds. Lovely sand beaches. over 15 km bicycle roads around the lakes, water activities,restaurants, supermarkets. It is not a "prominent party" resort, but quiet, clean and moderate equipped. - beaches with sand and lawns, a few tables and banks for barbecues and lunch available - swimming areas bordered and max 1,50 m deep - fishing areas - motor boats and other vehicles and sport equipment to hire (no license required, sailing in all lakes and also along Maas-river permitted) - rich and free parking - camping areas and boat havens - free nature zone with oxes and other animals Easy to reach out: one of the old dutch mills, Nijmegen (oldest dutch town), Sinth Agatha monastery
