After the summerseason some peace and quit time
Galderse Meren is an area with recreational lakes at the south of Breda. The recreation area is named after the nearby village of Galder. There are several sunbathing areas and sandy beaches here, which makes the Galderse Meren on sunny days a popular destination for local residents to go swimming, sunbathing, diving, (wind) surfing and to go for a walk with your dog (dogs are forbidden in the high season) . When the summerseason is over you can spot birds here. Unfortunately my camera doesn't work anymore so i only could take pictures with my smartphone

Recreation Area
We visited this Galderse Merem ( lakes) because of the pictures of a reviewer of Tripadvisor. A green water lake with geese, beautiful and so peaceful. Forget them all. The lake was full of swimmer on the waterfront and people sun bathing on the beach lake. The green part was not really kind of inviting you to have a walk. It's probably wil give you a different view if you come very early in the morning or in the winter time. Parking the car cost € 3,00.
