Went to see Steve Miller Band last night. I’ve been to a few shows here and there really aren’t any “bad” seats and the sound is good. My complaint is that the website, social media and signs at the door are not accurate. The parking suddenly changed(yesterday I was told by attendant)from free or as the site says “included in ticket price” to $20.00. Then when we arrived at the gate our properly sized and “factory sealed” water was taken by security. The gate sign clearly said it was allowed as does the website. Oh, the same bottle of Kroger brand water was $5.00 inside....SMH. See more..

    Bluesville Performance Hall image
Attended the Nashville in Concert show on July 29th and had a great time. Sat in the balcony which was great because the seats were padded and had cup holders. The seats in the lower section were just regular chairs. Was very surprised at how well the sound was. This was the first concert I've ever been to that I could clearly understand every word sang and spoken by the performers. Would definitely go back if they ever have another concert that I want to attend. See more..

    Malco Grandview image
We stopped for a movie on the way home from our GA vacation expecting a theatre like any other, but this theatre is so special. The music and ambiance, complete with an indoor fountain and hardwood look floors, felt like a step back in time with all the modern conveniences of plush recliner chairs and yummy snack choices. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, the theatre was clean and comfortable. The only thing that could’ve made it better would be seat heaters. See more..

Visiting JP Coleman State Park- went to Iuka for groceries & saw drive in sign. It was so much fun! Kids running and playing while parents set up lawn chairs or fixed seats in truck beds. $9 adults- kids under 12 free. A bit run down - but that is part of the charm! Definitely a great experience and a step back in time- Higly recommend it! See more..
  13. 4.0 Temple Theatre for the Performing Arts (8 reviews)

    Theaters
Temple Theatre for the Performing Arts image
I and two friends attended a "Thank You" supper held at the theater for volunteers at the Soulé Steam Festival. I had no idea what to expect. That said, I was awestruck. The entire venue is practically unchanged since the 1920's. There are 1,600 seats, an orchestra pit and functioning organ. We were treated to a silent film from 1916, accompanied by live organ music. Regardless of what, if any, entertainment is available at the time of your visit the setting alone is worth the visit. See more..

  16. 4.5 Black Rose Theatre (6 reviews)
    - Great Little Theater, Phenomenal Cookies
    Spent 1-2 hours Theaters
If you have the opportunity to see a performance here it will be worth the visit! The local talent is impressive. Since the theater is small, only seating 100, it is easy to hear the actors and actresses. I was impressed by the sets and how they made subtle changes that showed the change in seasons for Steel Magnolias. They have a great website that let's you know what is upcoming. If you are in Brandon, MS, and a show is going on pop in and give it a try! Also, another commenter mentioned the popcorn noise, well they didn't have popcorn but they did have homemade cookies from a local Bakery called Hanna's Happies that were phenomenal! The chocolate chip stuffed with nutella were our favorite! See more..

Alex has a warm smile and his “inside look at the island” is unbelievable!! During this fabulous tour we enjoyed personalized attention, customized agenda and drinks to fit every taste!! We saw monkey, goats, natural wonders and iguanas ( feed them if you like)! We laughed alot and time went by so quickly and before we knew it we were back at Divi and Alex was off to spread magic to some other lucky group !! TAKE THIS TOUR- you will be glad that you did!!
