The Hopson Loft proved to be a great place to host traveling musicians. We couldn’t get the stove top to light and didn’t find the bed linens until the morning light. We had heard that the burgers were a 10 at The Red Zone and we were not disappointed. This is a fun place including a pool table and karaoke, nice outdoor patio, tables w/umbrellas, and great service! Classic 1/2 lb burger was cooked to order, flavorful, and served on a sourdough bun. Sweet potato fries are available as well, rolled in cinnamon sugar if you choose. Yum! They offer 1/3 lb burgers as well with lots of combinations. I chose the burger with an egg and bacon on a sourdough bun. Excellent! The egg is made to order, so mine was medium to limit the amount of runny yoke but still gave me the 'egg and burger' experience. There are lots of sandwich and salad options on the menu as well. Club Ebony is a blues club, a lineal descendant of a classic Mississippi "juke joint." We had read about it and planned a stay in Indianola as the last stop in our own Delta blues tour, following several days in Clarksdale. We were not disappointed. B.B. King was not in town, but the house band headed by the late David Lee Durham was featured that evening, and they were very good. They usually opened for B.B. when he was there, Although we were the only white people present (until a few obviously drunk and rather offensive young men, whom we described as "plantation owners," wandered in after a while), we were made to feel quite at home. The music was great! We were very glad we made this one of our stops; it was probably the best live music locale on our trip. Unfortunately, David Lee Durham, who had led a remarkable life, died last year - a real loss!See more..

As we are from Wisconsin-- Green Bay season ticket holders we had to stop in Kiln! Brett Favre is my #1 athlete of all time. With that said-- we wished he'd been there...! But we had a fun time anyway! The place is decorated with mostly Packer stuff, but also Saints have a corner and other random items and signs. Lots of bras on ceiling! The bartender was pleasant and enjoyed talking with him. It was mid afternoon so we were the only ones there- would be a fun place when more action or during a game! We came here after our swamp tour and were very glad we did. Very comfortable and very local establishment. Service was good and food was better. Was a little chilly so we ate inside but tables out back were cool. It was close to swamp tour, just across state line into Mississippi but we didn’t come across a sign. Was in town briefly and gonna check out the Spectator in walnut st but it's closed for renovation. Heard the party across the street and was so happy to join THE Walnut Street Blues Club! Five bluesmen were announced with their special custom made Blues walk of Fame handcrafted stones by Alan Orlicek. It was an exciting night to be at this initial event and see an OLD friend at the same time. Situated in what appears to be an abandoned (partially) abandoned motel the outside looks sketchy at best. The inside completes the pictures. The inside appeared dirty and had a peculiar smell (sweat vs other). There were booths (our table wobbled) and tables inside and picnic table outside. Good selection of local beers (enough to raise my rating to 2 stars). Food was typical bar fare. We did enjoy the cheese fries but the rest was average. Service was very slow although our waiter was at least apologetic about it. To top it off the bathroom was DISGUSTING (I mean third world disgusting). We didn’t stay for the music but maybe that might of helped our experience. Looks like a good place to drink beer and throw up. We won’t be back.See more..

Turn of the century building has some old charm. Old CRT TV's, one small flat screen with promises to upgrade. Closed on Sundays why I don't know. I come to this restaurant/bar/venue and get a great steak on Sundays, friendly staff and servers and enjoy a great show.
