I took my 3 yr old to the indoor pool/play area. We all had an amazing time. It was quiet/not busy, clean, everyone helpful but most impressive was the amazing zero entry pool with large play area for toddlers, a very tall slide for anyone above 4 feet, a lazy river and lots of water spouts including some off of the 2 story play yard. It was exactly what we were looking for and will definitely go back. See more..

This year Feb 15-16 2020. The Memphis Kennel Club held their AKC confirmation dog show. The venue was ideal. Plenty of room and sectioned off for the grooming area and show rings. There was concessions upstairs along with other vendors selling breed specific jewelry, Bowsie Wowsie, leather collars & leads, pooper scooper services and a OFA vet Dr. doing eye exams. See more..

    Snowden Grove Park image
Snowden Grove Baseball Complex is a first class facility for recreational and USSSA baseball. We love playing here! The park also has a fishing pond with pier, 2 playgrounds (one is also a special needs playground!), tennis courts, mini golf, indoor batting cages, and an amphitheater for outdoor concerts and other local events. Many people use the south lot that is fenced off to let their dogs play and also have drone flying races occasionally. There is always something to do here. We are proud to have this beautiful park in our city! See more..

  6. 4.0 A. J. Pitts Tennis Centre (1 review)
    - Nice Tennis Center with Mostly Chairback Seats and Ample Parking
    Spent 2-3 hours Sports Complexes
    A. J. Pitts Tennis Centre image
I visited the A. J. Pitts Tennis Centre to watch the Mississippi State's women's college tennis team compete against the University of South Carolina. I was pleased to see when I arrived that there was ample parking for spectators. The stadium seating is very good. Although the first row is just a bench with a back, the rows above that have individual chairs with seatbacks - much more comfortable. A few things keep this from being an "excellent" tennis stadium: 1) The stadium seating is behind the four middle courts, so if you are interested in watching play on courts 5 and 6, you cannot get a direct "down court" view of those two courts. 2) There were no concessions available, and since this match was from 5:30-8:30pm, concessions would have been appropriate. 3) The courts do not have full fences between any of the courts; they only have a short (about 12 feet) fence between every two courts. That means that a lot of balls go from one court to another, interfering with play. 4) There is no large scoreboard at one end or behind courts 1 and 2 showing the scores for all six courts, so if you are at one end of the stadium, it is difficult to know the scores on all six courts. The fans were very friendly and appropriate in their cheering. If you like tennis and are in the area, it is a very good place to see competitive matches. See more..
  7. 5.0 Palmer/Salloum Tennis Center (1 review)
    - Unique Venue for Watching College Tennis
    Spent 2-3 hours Sports Complexes
    Palmer/Salloum Tennis Center image
I visited the Palmer/Salloum Tennis Center for the women's tennis match between Ole Miss and the University of South Carolina. It is quite different from most college tennis venues and gives the spectator a number of different viewing options. Most college tennis facilities have 6 or 12 courts with stadium seating behind the courts. Here at Palmer/Salloum Tennis Center there is stadium seating behind courts 1 and 2, pavilion viewing behind courts 3 and 4 and courts 5 and 6, and then there is the special option. Between the paired courts 1 and 2 and paired courts 3 and 4 there is a small seating area for spectators. Similarly, between the paired courts 1 and 2 and paired courts 5 and 6 there is a small seating area for spectators. This gives the spectators up close viewing that is not often available. It was there that I chose to be and moved from one section to the other to enjoy close up action on all courts. Admission is free and the action is great!! Try it out! See more..
