    This museum was very interesting. It tells the story of the river Waal and the animals of the region. There was also a temporary exhibition about the fables of the animals. There are many stairs, but you are allowed to use the elevator if you have difficulty walking stairs. At various locations you will find a screen where you can read more information. On one of these screens you can try to load an old cannon in less than a minute. See more..

    This museum provides information on the formation, history and ecology of the Veluwe. Knowing a bit more about the background of the national park and its environment proved very nice during me walks and bike rides in the Veluwe after our museum visit. It helped me understand the landscape from a different perspective and allowed me to see more of the plants and animals. As someone with a background in geology and paleontology, I thought the exhibition was interesting for both adults and kids, specialists and general public. Only downside were that the information was quite hard to read due to lack of light, and that the museum is a bit small and echoey, and can feel quite cramped with kids. See more..
