    I had heard there was a paper mill in Loenen on a warm sunny day a nice bike ride from Arnhem through the woods. Paper mill was interesting t was not working but this allows you to see the machines close up the children were able to scoop there own paper. See more..

    Visited this tea garden with my wife. I had a (birthday) gift voucher for a 'High wine' which we've spent there. It's great for families, couples or single people to have a nice drink in a beautiful environment. I have to say that the wetter was beautiful so that also helped. But there are enough spots in the garden to shelter for a bit of rain. After (or before) you can walk around the garden and enjoy a bit of nature. I really recommend to visit this rather unknown spot. And; They have much more to offer than just tea. See more..

    Had a BBQ 2.0 workshop at Rookoven. The workshop itself didn't go as in-depth as I hoped, but that was probably also due to the fact that some of the participants didn't even know how to light a kamado. Would be nice to have a workshop for the more die-hard BBQ fans. The Pitmaster was very knowledgeable and willing to explain techniques etc. See more..

    I visited the Helenahuis during a weekend about flach. There were expositions from local artists, demonstrations and workshops. Three floors will show you a lot about the history of Aalten. I will defenitly visit this galery again in the future. See more..
