It's a beautiful park located close to Arnhem. You can easily access the park from Rheden train station. It's a small walk from the station to the entrance. There are plenty of walking paths inside the park. Specially during the summer months you can see purple Heathers in the posbank of the park. Best time to see heathers is end of August. Everything is TÜV-certified. This Klimbos has 9 different routes where the level and the heights differ per route. The perfect getaway for young and old! You can climb from the age of 7 years and start with the 3 junior routes at a height of 2 to 7 meters. Please note, the child must have a height of 1.20m. A visit to Klimbos Veluwe takes about 3.5 hours, including instruction. Afterwards you can enjoy a drink or an ice cream. What a treasure on the Neder Rijn. Amazing place to relax, get some good fresh air and enjoy the lovelly space that the Restaurant has created for their guest to sit safely during these testing times with Covid-19. I felt really safe due to the professionalism of the Staff, their approach was respectful and the food was delicious too. The Koffie plateau was a real treat too! Went to mosselse sand near otterland with boundries too ginkelse heide en veluwe national park. The place to park is ardoer camping de wije wereld with has a parking spot for a 3 km trial. Or just take a 10 minute hike in the forest to the large sand dunes. Great for kids its a nature beach. We saw deer at midday while usually the are around early morning or mid afternoon. Just as good as veluwe national park only accesible for the pubkic. Will go again See more..

The glaciers were heavy 100 meters thick pushing land aside greating the renkums beekdal connecting the veluwe (western europe largest nature park) to the rhine. Renkums beekdal offers these days great hikes with a tourism office with information and movies about nature and ice age renkums offers many bed and breakfasts restaurants ( campman and the bender) hotel restaurants (nol in t bosch) to cater local and international tourists.
