    What a treasure on the Neder Rijn. Amazing place to relax, get some good fresh air and enjoy the lovelly space that the Restaurant has created for their guest to sit safely during these testing times with Covid-19. I felt really safe due to the professionalism of the Staff, their approach was respectful and the food was delicious too. The Koffie plateau was a real treat too!     Ik ga hier vaak met de hond heen. Mooi wandelpad langs het water. Alles netjes verzorgd. Het pad is mss drie kilometer lang. Alleen jammer dat het niet rondloopt, je moet omkeren en teruglopen.
    De bevers heb ik nog nooit gezien, maar als je geluk hebt is er zat wildleven te spotten.     See more..

    Al lange tijd stond een bezoekje aan de Schaapskooi in Loenen op de planning. Navigatie wijst je prima, evenals de borden in het dorp. Stukje door het bos en daar was voldoende parkeerplek. De binnenruimte was wegens Corona dicht, maar het veld en schapen te bezichtigen en rond te lopen. Prachtig stuk bos eromheen waar je kunt wandelen. Goed onderhouden en fijne picknickplekken.     Mooie bossen, om lange wandelingen te maken. Vanuit de speelplaats in het centrum van Vierhouten starten verschillende wandelingen. Die wandelingen zijn verboden voor honden, staat op het overzichtsbord. Toch gelopen en geen problemen ondervonden.

    Een mail gezonden en elkaar per telefoon gesproken en wij waren welkom bij hem thuis.
    Reinier heeft zijn roof vogels zelf groot gebracht en zit vol verhalen en vol passie voor zijn vogels en zijn stuk voor stuk prachtige dieren.wij hebben genoten en gaan zeker terug.

    A must visit if you´re interested in nature and birds when in Wageningen. The nature area is just a couple of minutes biking from the centre of Wageningen. Several different trails perfect for hiking, bird watching and dog walking. The famous bird, Lepelaar, is often found in the lake during summer. Several other interesting birds to find here includes Bearded reedling, Pheasant, common cuckoo, Eurasian jay, Great crested grebe, Grey heron, Great egret and Great cormorant. Surpisingly, Bluethroat, can also be spotted here. Other animals include Grass snake, Northern crested newt and beaver. Horses and cows are walking freely around, but keep your distance and don´t feed them.. The historical stone fabric, De Bovenste Polder, is also an attraction worth visiting in this area.
