With a group of some twenty people we played golf at this lovely course whilst a few took a "golf clinic" to get acquainted with this fantastic kind of sport. The weather was fabulous but not our scores since this course requires good course management. Quite a challenge. Vanavond een heerlijke avond gehad bij pitch & putt Strand Horst. Met 13 personen op gepaste afstand van elkaar kunnen barbecueën, golfen en footgolfen. De barbecue was top verzorgd, heerlijk vlees en lekkere salades, vriendelijke bediening en de schitterende ondergaande zon als bonus. Een echte aanrader dus.See more..

We enjoyed a wonderful outing pitching and chipping. My sister and her husband had never golfed before and had a blast! They even parred a hole! The course is very interesting, even for a lower handicapper. Blind shots over trees, and uphill greens. The course is in good condition, a lot of natural landscape around the holes. Bring your own clubs, or carry the putter and pitching wedge in the provided golf bag. Balls and tees are provided. We enjoyed the lunch package: soup, a sandwich and a broodje kroket. This really is a beautiful golf course with a lovely spacious restaurant. The first thing I noticed in the restaurant was the waiters and waitresses, they were all very young and in my opinion wasn't really sure what they were doing, it seemed as they all had thier individual task and wouldn't go beyond that. We waited some considerable time before we ordered our drinks and again some considerable went by before we ordered our dinner, then came the surprise, our dinner was served within 10 minutes even though the restaurant was quite full. My wife ordered goats cheese salad and I ordered the Duck. We all know you can't cook a duck breast and serve it within 10 minutes It arrived with a very blubbery skin and the meat itself was just warm, I believe it had been pre-cooked and then warm up in a cacuum bag. I can understand vegetables being served in this walk but meat that can and should be cooked to order.See more..
