In the midst of the woods, this restaurant is an excellent location to relax after a walk and enjoy a drink or a nice meal. Thee meals are great en the wine is fine. The ambiance is typically Dutch.

A Short Walk
It was end of the day when we arrived at this place. There is not an official parking place but you could park the car near the entrance of this wood. We took a short walk as we had to drive an hour more to our hotel. It's a nice walking area, a lot of mushroom.

Nice location, good service but food quality deteriorating
Visited this nicely located restaurant for the third time and every time the quality gets a bit less. The first time I would have given them a 4. Service is most certainly good. However we ordered the Black Angus steak which was served within 5 minutes after ordering. Conclusion: it should have « been ready waiting for us ». On top no taste which I guess is due to the quality of the product as not much you can spoil here. Thankfully the waitress noticed our disappointment and we explained our « surprise » to her. Later on she offered us a complimentary desert. If it wasn’t for her and the location, rating would have been lower.
