4.5Museo Del Teatro Romano(2.928 reviews) - Make sure you know how to get in before going Wednesday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Speciality Museums
By visiting the Museum of the Roman Theatre you will encounter one of the most surprising discoveries of the city in the last decades. Thanks to the ingenious design of the architect Rafael Moneo, you will start your tour of the Palace of Riquelme, the first building of the museum, and then follow the historical hallway located under the street to then move to the new space that collects the most emblematic pieces of all found in the excavations. Using modern stairs you will come to the second tunnel, this time is under the medieval church of Santa Maria, a construction superimposed to the old theatre which increases its uniqueness and attraction. After this, the second corridor, will take you to the most relevant part of the museum, the Roman Theatre, one of the largest in the Roman Hispania with capacity for 7,000 people.See more..

4.0Punic Wall(223 reviews) - Remains of Carthaginian Wall Wednesday: 10:00 AM - 5:30 PM Spent < 1 hour Speciality Museums
In the Punic Wall you will encounter one of the most important episodes in the history of the Mediterranean, the Punic Wars between the Carthaginians and the Romans. You will meet the legendary past of Qart Hadast founded by the general Hasdrubal in 229 BC and its most significant, the wall, one of the few remaining Carthaginian relics still found in Spain. In addition, next to the wall, you can see the funerary crypt of the hermitage of San Jose built in the 16th and 17th centuries. Its walls offer a very macabre representation of the Dances of Death.See more..
4.5Santa Clara Monastery & Museum(212 reviews) - The museum is a little gem! Wednesday: 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM, 4:00 PM - 6:30 PM Speciality Museums
The monastery let us in early and it is worth a look round and it was free. The museum was free and well worth a visit, as i have some limited mobility i was given help to get up and down stairs via a special lift and the help of the security guy. There is also a lift to get to the upper floor. Some of the exhibits were lovely and you can touch some of them which is nice. It gives you a lovely insight into the Moors history and the history of the Monastery. Santa Clara monastery and museum are easy to get to. We would recommend a visit to both and particularly if you have mobility issues. All in all the monastery and museum is well worth a visit.See more..

The museum is built over the remains of a Roman necropolis, located away from the main Roman centre of town. We visited this free museum on a rainy Sunday morning and spent an interesting hour viewing the remains of the necropolis and associated exhibits which include mosaics, tombstones and associated historic finds. 4.5Museo del Vino(60 reviews) - Delightful! Wednesday: 10:30 AM - 2:00 PM, 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM Speciality Museums
We have visited this museum once before, on an organised trip, but we decided to visit again with some friends who had not been to Bullas before. It is very nicely laid out, with an initial area that puts Bullas into geographical perspective. From here, you enter an area for a short multi-media presentation. For those of a nervous disposition, watch out for the glass floor! At the end of the presentation, the screens roll up so that you can look down on a staged setting of a working winery. From here, you can go down to inspect the “winery” closer up and then follow through into the exhibition area that tells all about wine making. Back upstairs again takes you into a final area where, if you are on a pre-organised tour, you may be lucky enough to have a wine tasting!See more..
4.5The Siyasa Museum(49 reviews) - Little gem - must visit! Spent 1-2 hours Speciality Museums
On our way to the almond trees in bloom, we made a stop in Cieza to visit this museum. The people at the reception were very friendly and welcoming. We received a brochure and were introduced to the lay-out of the museum. Entrance was free. The building is very modern, bright and open. There are very different and many artefacts from many epochs found in the surroundings of Cieza, formerly called Siyasa. An arab town from the 11nd century was found there and the museum has many original pieces on display. We liked it a lot. Not to be missed!See more..
4.5Templo de San Juan de Dios(49 reviews) - Stunning church in Murcia Spent < 1 hour Speciality Museums • Religious Sites • Churches & Cathedrals
I done a walkabout tour of Murcia, was very impressed with the city, certainly a very different city to march around, I have done a few Spanish cities, and they are much more open planned, whereas this is all closed in, but really nice too! In amongst is this beautiful church, unfortunately it was closed the day I came here, and the pictures of it's interior look stunning, might be back next summer, so I'll give it a go then.See more..
We attended the English guided tour on a Tuesday. As it turned out, my wife and I were the only couple on the tour that day. The guide was excellent, speaking good English and providing a very well informed insight into the workings and history of the mine. This is an excellent attraction and at €8 a head, extremely good value for money. If you have an opportunity, I would strongly recommend visiting.See more..

4.5Museo Gaya(39 reviews) - Ramon Gaya Museum - wonderful artist Speciality Museums
Before we went to Murcia we had never heard of this artist. He is a wonderful artist and a son of the city. The museum is housed in a lovely old mansion in Plaza Santa Catalina. We loved his work. There are many paintings on display - including tribute work of his own favourite art works. Murcia City Council gave him the freedom freedom of the city. Both the house and the paintings are really worth seeing.See more..

5.0Museo Crux Caravacensis(26 reviews) - Great visit! Very Interesting!! Spent < 1 hour Speciality Museums
A tour throughout the history of the Cross of Caravaca from the 16th to the 19th century in Germany, Austria, Poland, France, Czech Republic, Italy and the Netherlands. The small copies that are shown in this exhibition arrived in those countries either through some Religious Orders, or carried there by pilgrims who had been drawn to Caravaca and itsmiraculousCross and had decided to pay it a visit. Tradition, culture and religion blend into one another in these unique rooms, where the ineffaceable trace of theCross of Caravaca around the world is shown on their stone walls. This exhibition contains information that has been translated into English, French and German and soon, also into Italian, but we have also gathered data directly from sources written in Czech and Polish.See more..

Free entry (with stairs) to a small renovated tower overlooking Bolneuvo. Lovely views from the top along with information about the tower in English. Dates back to 15th century and was built as a watchtower to warn residents about invading barbary pirates. Just a nice bit of history to visit in Bolneuvo. Nice view of the bell. Information of the Virgin lamp too (which is next door in the small church). Local cafes nearby for refreshments. Open most evenings.See more..
4.0Museo del Mar(10 reviews) - Lovely little museum! Wednesday: 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Spent < 1 hour Speciality Museums • History Museums
We went here on a Monday, forgetting that everything seems to close on Mondays in Spain! Fortunately, we were met by someone who we presume to be one of the main curators of this small but lovely collection, who was kind enough to show us around for a little while. Not a lot of English spoken if at all, but it's so worth a visit! Lovely little collection of everything to do with the sea around San Pedro and the Mar Menor, from models of the various types of fishing boats to a giant sponge and various other sea creatures. What was by far the most attractive feature was the enthusiasm of the gentleman though! Well worth a little visit, but come any day other than Monday!See more..

See more..
5.0Esparto Museum(4 reviews) - Museo humilde e imprescindible Speciality Museums
See more..
See more..
