    The Baños de la Marrana is reached by a wooden walkway from the little church Ermita de Nuestra Senora del Carmen. The walkways take you past some remains of Roman Kilns. The Baños de la Marrana are the ruins of disused Thermal baths which were opened to the public 2 May 1901 by Dr Vera but were abandoned sometime in the mid 20th Century. According to 11th and 12th Centry legend a Sow suffering from Rheumatism walked down to the beach where there was a hot spring and rolled in the hot water and was cured. It is quite an interesting landmark and worth a quick look. It is one of the things that make Isla Plana an interesting and unique seaside village. See more..
