For me this is the best bike rental service I have 'ever' been too! Pedro(the blue eyed Spaniard) is absolutely amazing! He is kind, helpful and conscientious. He works out the bike you need, adjusts correctly, ensuring your safety is paramount. Any issues he will immediately fix and get you back on the road. We hired some e-bikes for the day from Ecoadventure and cycled the dirt coast road from Bolnuevo to Percheles beach and back. Unfortunately our favourite beach bar at Percheles was no where to be seen so we had to cycle to a nearby village and buy picnic supplies from the local Spar supermarket and had our picnic on the beach. I would advise taking a rucksack with water and a picnic. We cycled past some lovely little coves, spectacular views and as it was May there were spring flowers everywhere and the temperature was not too hot. The road is closed to cars. Only walkers and bicycles allowed. There were some hilly bits and also some gravelly bits on the road which made it a bit challenging in places. If you want to cycle something a little flatter you could always cycle the nice flat paved Paseo from Bolnuevo to the Puerto de Mazarron. We have walked that so know that route well. We found the young man in the shop very friendly and helpful.See more..

Antonio our guide was adorable, trying to perfect his English (which was incredibly better than my level of Spanish) it’s a beautiful experience and most welcome on a hot day. All the guides where fun and encouraged regular splashing between rafts. We travelled with two German families and Antonio had us feeling like friends by the end of the trip. The one thing I will mention is that at the end to reach your car you have to walk up a very steep incline, not for the unfit.See more..

So we rented a couple of bikes for 3 adults and 2 teenagers. The staff was really friendly and helpful, the bikes appeared to be new, one came with a smartphone mount. (tip : if taking drinks with you take the coolbag option, the bag fits nicely in the basket on the citybikes) We took the 10km ride to Loo Pagan, nice route, not too long, some nice scenery passing the beaches & promenades, whenever we had to follow a bigger road there was a separate bike lane, so we always felt save, even with the kids.
