Great day out for family and friends. We were 2 families with teenagers and can’t say a negative word. It was a great trip, the skipper is very friendly and we really enjoyed jumping in, using the water carpet. The kitchen also had everything we needed for our picnic! If you want to go scuba diving in the La Manga area there is only one place to go, Adventure Divers run by Neil and Laura. We did our open water certificate with Neil in 2007 and last visited in Aug 19. Neil is an exceptional instructor, friendly yet professional and reassuring. There are many different dive sites offering a variety of underwater experiences to suit the newbie and the experienced scuba diver. All your diving equipment can be rented from the centre, which also offers many other water activities. Minibus transport to all the dive sites is included. I would definitely recommend diving with Adventure Divers, Neil and the team really do a excellent job to keep everyone safe importantly to enjoy every dive. See more..

We had such a lovely time! Everything went so smoothly and it was really interesting to see the coastline. It was great being able to swim in the sea half way. It was really easy to get on and off the boat as the ladder went right into the water. We had loads of room and could relax and have a drink from the bar on the way back! The 5 Islands Mar Menor cruise is well worth a trip if you are interested in local history. Close up views of the islands and be ready with your camera! Wildlife in abundance, ruins of a one time bustling holiday island, evidence of war, and to get up close to the Baron island with a tale to tell is something you won't get, by standing on the shoreline. Our initial trip was postponed due to bad weather but was quickly and easily rearranged with Solaz Lines. (Tel & email) A clear, descriptive onboard commentary added to our enjoyment. Easy to follow details of the trip around the Islands are available in several languages, when you board the vessel. Don't be put off by the size of the boat as it has good facilities and staff are extremely helpful. For those with walking difficulties, boarding the vessel may be difficult, and check with Solaz before booking for wheelchair accessibility. We spent a lovely day out on the mar menor with Carmen who was a great host. We hired the boat for our family of 5 and loved diving off the boat, swimming to shore on one of islands, the tranquility of the sailing and of course the outstanding paella that Carmen cooked fresh for us. Our oldest son is learning Spanish so it was great for him to have someone to converse with, and we managed to teach Carmen a few new English words as well! Antonio our guide was adorable, trying to perfect his English (which was incredibly better than my level of Spanish) it’s a beautiful experience and most welcome on a hot day. All the guides where fun and encouraged regular splashing between rafts. We travelled with two German families and Antonio had us feeling like friends by the end of the trip. The one thing I will mention is that at the end to reach your car you have to walk up a very steep incline, not for the unfit.See more..
