    This street market operates every Tuesday and runs the full length of Calle Mayor. There is plenty of parking on the side roads which is mostly free. Calle Mayor is closed to traffic and has stalls on both sides of the road mostly covering half the pavement and part of the road. This leaves a corridor in the centre of the road to walk down. Parts of the market are covered but others are exposed to the sun so best to have a hat and comfortable shoes as walking the full length of the market will take probably 30 minutes one way. Lots of clothes stalls and some good prices. Some bargaining is possible. The market sellers are mostly helpful and not at all pushy which makes the experience more enjoyable as no one is trying to sell you something while you are just looking. See more..
