Tomas Maestre Marina is located in the north of La Manga, on the shores of Mar Menor. We have over 1.700 berths for boats up to 30 meters in length. The access to the port from the Mediterranean Sea runs through the channel of the Estacio, only means of maritime communication between the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean Sea. See more..

Our ship had docked at Pier Alfonso XII Cruise Terminal in the natural harbor of Cartagena. This important harbor was established as a major naval center by the Carthaginians in 227 BC. Cartagena was a booming place during the Roman period. Today the harbor is still a busy port and important naval base, capital of the Spanish Navy’s Maritime Department of the Mediterranean since the Spanish Bourbons in the 18th century, but from our vantage point all we could see were hundreds of masts of pleasure boats anchored cheek and jowl. With more than 3,000 hours of sun a year and mild year round temperatures, it’s no wonder this is a popular destination. See more..

We visited the marina with friends. The walk around the marina is nice with the boats to one side and a good variety of bars and restaurants to the other. There are many restaurants to choose from with nice staff and great views Outside the marina there is a beach to walk along and also the Salinas with plenty of pathways and views to enjoy. Highly recommend a visit for a relaxed atmosphere. See more..
