Salzillo - sculptor extraordinary
The museum is a good way to find out more about the culture in Murcia which is rich and full of tradition. The work done although mainly religious is fascinating and his work is prolific

A different museum
Half museum/ half curch, this place really worths the visit. With two different sections, firstly we visited the Belen, a representation of the Nativity based in Spanish culture. We also saw a very impressive Neopolitan version in an itinerant exhibition. But the most oustanding experience was the Salzillo's sculptures, especially the last supper. Do not miss it if you are nearby. Check the timetables, since the church is active and during the religious services, this part of the museum is close.
