The park was very well maintained. Lots to keep you entertained. Food was of good selection and quality. I think the only issue I has was the ticket line. 4.5Rockwood Park(294 reviews) - Hiker's Delight Parks
Rockwood Park offers much more than meets the eye. While the majority of people congregate at the easy to access areas just off the road near Lily or Fisher Lakes in reality this only encompasses about 20% of the park. Beyond the road in the park of the park lays real, wild nature and some of the best scenery you are gonna find in NB. Check out the Mackay Skyway for genuinely awe inspiring views of the Citiy's east side. It is a park, free to use for the public with amazing trails that are used for both hiking and biking. If you like greenery, cliffs, valleys and forest this is the place for you. If you do not like these things, you probably should not come to a park expecting an amusement park.See more..

I had the pleasure of spending an hour on these trails during a recent visit to Moncton. My time was limited, but I got to hike four of the trails, and each of them was completely different. From a single track, heavily rooted trail, to an extremely well groomed, extra wide path, and my favourite, the John Howard trail, I absolutely loved it. Great work Moncton!See more..

We visited in July 2018 actually, on a cloudy, slightly cool and mildly windy day the fog that surrounded the beach made it a very ethereal experience. We were there at low tide and there were not too many people on the beach that day. It was a very wide, long beautiful area we tried to look for Sandollar‘s but couldn’t find any, the local restaurant told us that the week prior there were a whole bunch of people looking for Sandollars and probably took them all. I wish we had more time there ...in all, a great beach.See more..

We love Kilarney, We do have hang out on the beach, or take the paddle boards out. The lifeguards are very strict with rules, no floaties in roped-off area, no adult beverages. Though I have noticed they tend to ignore the adults with drinks and only seem to bother the University aged ones (I say this as a 30 year old). No dogs on beach but can take them off the sand area.See more..

Fabulous PP located right on the water only a few klms from the Confederation Bridge to PEI. Spacious pull thru sites (we were in 107). The views are spectacular! A bit windy at times but helped keep the very warm temps at bay. Also very close to Blue Roof Distilleries. Happens to be our vodka and gin of choice so was nice to stock up at the store instead of ordering on line! Only down side for us was no doggie beach and our girl loves the water! Nice showers, laundry and kids playground, not to mention a huge beach with lots of sand bars when the tide goes out! Definitely recommend this park if you are in NB or touring the East coast!!See more..

4.0Ganong Nature Park(22 reviews) - Great place for a picnic or beach day Parks
We took our four kids for a picnic one day and walked around. There are beautiful views! There is a steeper way down to the beach near the historic home, which couldn't accommodate our stroller, but there was another path that we could get our stroller down. We saw a porcupine walking on the beach as we walked down the path! We visited twice and the visitor centre and washrooms were closed both times, but perhaps they are open in the summer. There is an outhouse we found, but BYOTP. ;) We also found the gates locked, although the signs said it was open, so we had to park on the road which was a little extra walk.See more..
4.0Headquarters Campground(20 reviews) - Great campground in central location Spent More than 3 hours National Parks
Enjoyed three nights camping at Headquarters. Sites are well-spaced, with RV sites, tent sites, even yurts and OTENTIKs. My only caution is that if you are coming from Saint John -- be careful on the hills heading to the visitor's center - they are incredibly steep and windy, which was a bit of a challenge for the brakes on my motor coach. Will be leaving towards the east to avoid going through there again.See more..
4.5Stewart's Tubing(19 reviews) - A nice way to spend a summer afternoon Friday: 10:00 AM - 4:30 PM Zipline & Aerial Adventure Parks • Water Sports
This is a fun activity! The place is so well organized! You pay (15$). You then take a bus to the river. Once there, they supply you with the appropriate size tube. All you have to do is get on the tube and float down the river, which takes about 2 hours. When you get back, you get your car keys, that they kept safely for you! They have change rooms to put on dry clothes. It's best to wear water shoes (no flip flops), because the river bed is rocky. It's fun to go with a group. The staff is so welcoming! They even have guys on boats to make sure everyone is ok!See more..

How lucky we are to have access to this island! It’s a day park with lots of picnic sites, many with spectacular views. It’s worth the drive just to see the lighthouse, which is painted in the colours of the Acadian flag. The boardwalk could use some TLC. I’m sure that will be taken care of because everything else here is maintained with pride. Next time, I’ll go for a day and not just a quick visit. Great biking trails, walking trails and in the winter snowshoeing and cross country skiing trails. Lots of wildlife (beavers, deer, partridges, rabbits...), and some beautiful trees and streams. In the hidden trails I find a lot of of cars and garbage so I've been making piles of this garbage and reusing some materials to be Eco-friendly. 5.0TimberTop Zip Tours(6 reviews) - Timbertop Zip Lining at Snider Mountain Friday: Ski & Snow Tours • Zipline & Aerial Adventure Parks
Excellent Adventure! Leroy and the staff at Timbertop were absolutely amazing. We had to do several reschedules due to weather and lockdown, but the wait was worth it. Leroy did a tremendous job of keeping us updated about situations affecting our booking and was always extremely accommodating. Made it to Snider Mountain on March 20th, and had such a great time. Leroy and Alec were our guides. There are guides with you the whole time. If you are new, they take you through the entire process of harnessing up, safety, etc. with clear, easy to follow instructions. They are also there to help reassure you if you are nervous and have never zip lined before. Both our guides were very friendly and the time 'flew' by. 13 zip lines, all through the trees. A great way to spend a few hours. Looking forward to going back next season as well and going to Timbertop in Saint John, when it opens for the season.See more..
