    - don't go on skywalk lol

I went here because it was highly rated but it was really a disappointment. I believe on the website it said there would be around 9meters of tide rise. we paid $30 (for 2 people) to go on the skywalk but honestly it was quite a waste of money. overall the tides were cool to see but it would be better to just go on the bridge or nearby sights to see instead of paying money. A tidal Bore is a tidal phenomenon in which the leading edge of an incoming tide forms a standing wave of water that travels upstream, against the current of a river or narrow bay. The tidal bore in Moncton is caused when the unparalleled tides in the Bay of Fundy begin to make their way up the historic Petitcodiac River. The Bay of Fundy is home to the highest tides in the world and over 160 billion tonnes of water comes in and out of the bay each day! Twice daily, observers can watch the tidal bore as this incoming rush of water overtakes the outgoing tide in the formerly placid river. See more..

  4. 4.5 Miramichi River (119 reviews)
    - TUBING!
    Bodies of Water
    Miramichi River image
I would recommend this activity to any family, couples, friends who want to have a good time with the nature. I would recommend the tubing on this river (two companies offering this activity) in the miramichi area. It is about 10$ an adult, 5$ a child if I am not mistaking but you go down the river (takes about 2 hours) and is very relaxing. You can even bring a cooler on a small tube with you! See more..
  5. 3.5 St. George Falls (29 reviews)
    - Worth a quick stop, can be viewed from 2 angles
    Bodies of Water • Waterfalls
    St. George Falls image
There is a spot to pull over to view this gorge from two locations - the main bridge through town, or a smaller bridge, lower down (a map will show this, and it's not hard to find). The best-known views are from this lower bridge, but both are worth seeing as they offer different perspectives to this powerful water flow. Quite picturesque. See more..
  6. 3.5 Chocolate Cove (5 reviews)
    - One of many

    Chocolate Cove image
Deer Isle has a number of coves and it seems the locals have found a way to utilize each one to make a living. At low tide you can walk out along the shore and enjoy the salty air. Most of the coves are "working" places, but they are just as picturesque. Hint: when you visit the island drive the left side following each road to the end; usually a cove, then go all the way to the campground. On the return take the right side as much as you can. If you plan to eat bring a picnic or stop at the 45th as there are very few restaurants. Plan a good 3-4 hours to see most of the island. See more..

  8. 4.0 Old Snow Wirlpool (1 review)
    - Bien
Spent < 1 hour Bodies of Water
See more..

Currently involved in a Stripped Bass tourney in the harbour. Nice area, nice beaches. When tide changes there is a very strong current that rips through narrow inlet/outlet. Water seems quite clean. See more..
