We were fortunate to have a glorious day in October. The boat ride and info provided by the biologists on board was worth the price of admission. We did see minke whales, seals, a tuna, and bald eagles. The captain did a great job of maneuvering for optimal viewing. And we got to spend some time with the Old Sow and her piglets! Very nice, all in our group enjoyed it and we were diverse in our interests and abilities. See more..

My wife and I did a basketmaking workshop in the Summer of 2021 and had a wonderful time: Mona and Michelle, who taught us the basics, were knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and patient. We learned about other programs offered, including the tour, and certainly plan to stop back through at some future point. We enjoyed looking around the gift shop and found numerous lovely baskets and other items to buy. Everyone respected the COVID guidelines. I would highly recommend visiting and the basketmaking workshop in particular; every time we look at the baskets we made (and the gorgeous ones we purchased from the gift shop), we have wonderful memories. - Go on a Walk With Llamas!! What's not to like?

We went on an early morning (8 am) River Walk, and had a very fun time. Our group was a 15-year old, a 24-year old and a 52-year old, and each of us enjoyed it. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and the walk through the forest was very pretty, even on a slightly grey morning. After the walk we had a chance to hang out with the other animals (horses, alpacas, a camel, etc, etc), which was a real treat for our 15-yr old. We will definitely book again next year for the beach walk. Thanks!! See more..

A great evening tour. I am a little nervous of boat tours as I suffer from motion sickness but I had no problem on this tour. The tour takes you up river and into the lagoon. The commentary was very interesting and we saw seals, eagles , osprey and very briefly a bear !. Kores has the eyes of an eagle an can spot wildlife a mile off !. A great evening and a must do. 5. 5.0 Captain Riddles Whale Watching (1 review)
    - Captain Riddles is a must-do if on Campobello Island
    Nature & Wildlife Tours
We loved our first trip so much, we booked another one 3 days later! Captain Brandon and his son are locals, who clearly know and love the waters around Campobello Island. The boat is smaller than the glitzy whale watching tours out of Saint Andrews, but it enables them to respond more quickly as things evolve. Our first trip out, Captain was able to maneuver the boat, with his knowledge of the tidal currents, so that we had a Minke whale repeatedly in our sights. In fact, as close as maybe 20 yards! But that said, he is very respectful of the marine life, and doesn't crowd them. (It was the Minke's choice to surface so close to us!) We didn't think there was anyway he could beat the first trip, but just wanted to be out on the water when we booked the second. That one surpassed the first! Captain found a porpoise feeding frenzy. It was surreal to be surrounded by so many porpoises, diving around and under us! And he was able to give us a view of a finback whale on that trip as well. Absolutely spectacular! See more..
  6. 5.0 Sled Dog Adventures (1 review)
    - Wilderness Adventure!
Friday: 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM Ski & Snow Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours

A short 20 minute drive north of Miramichi, New Brunswick is a wonderful outdoor winter adventure location. While dog sledding through a beautiful evergreen forest is the primary activity, the site also offers X-country skiing, snowshoeing, ski-joring and snow mobiling. Owner Diane Leclerc is also an amazing Acadian cook; we stopped on the trail for a lunch of soup and moose wraps cooked over an open fire - absolutely delicious! The dogs are friendly and love to run; just remember to dress warmly! See more..
