We were in this gallery in August. Our experience was outstanding. The owner had a covid plan and was excellent to deal with. My daughter and myself made some purchases and the owner was extremely friendly. There is a large array of Canadian crafts available from art-work to blown glass to pottery/jewelry etc etc. Well worth a visit. We will return on our next trip to the island.See more..
This was not an easy place to find! As we pulled up, we drove by the goats and to the house. Two really sweet dogs ran to greet us! We petted them for a bit. After a few minutes, we turned to see that all of the goats had followed us up the drive and were seeking attention too! The cheesemaker came out to greet us, he is a young guy who doesn't speak much English, but knew enough to get by... He brought out about 15-20 different cheeses (I can't remember how many he makes, but I think about 30). He gave us descriptions of the different goats and which he used for the different cheeses (all of whom were trying to get into the back door). The cheeses were awesome! Each better than the next. We bought 6 different ones. He let us decide how big of a piece we wanted of each. He had Styrofoam coolers and frozen water bottles to keep the cheese cool. Definitely worth a stop! We have been feasting on fresh cheese and Richibucto River wine all week! If you are on route 495 coming from Rexton (we came from the Richibucto River Winery), the dirt road is on the left after house #1888 (right) and #1907 (left). The number out front is actually #1959 - it is a little blue sign on a post. Their address is listed as #1967, so we drove by a few times and missed it. There is no 1967! We finally saw the red sign up on the hill in the woods behind some overgrown trees. If you go over the river you went too far.See more..

We stumbled upon Topsail Canvas when looking for Tripadvisor advice on things to do in the area (we were visiting St. Andrews) and I'm so glad we did. As their website suggests, we reached out via Facebook Messenger and arranged to drop into the Topsail studio. If you are looking for a unique locally made gift, or just a "tote for life" as they advertise, you should really visit. They have a wide variety of colorful canvas bags for a variety of uses; from bags to take to the beach, to totes for growlers and wine bottles, or purses or really any occasion. The totes are clearly made to last and the owner will repair any issues for the lifetime of the product. The best thing about visiting the studio is the opportunity to see the bags/totes in person to see the construction and the vivid colours. Can't recomend enough if in the area!See more..
