4.5Adventure High Kayaking(47 reviews) - Seas every moment with an evening paddle Kayaking & Canoeing
I've gone paddling with Adventure High kayaking a couple of times, which speaks to their guides' service and quality. I always make it a point of going kayaking with Adventure High because no two trips are ever the same! Our most recent trip, the evening excursion, is proof of that. We'd never kayaked in the evening and after this experience I regret not doing it sooner. Sure, the setting sun is nice from Southwest Head BUT experiencing it from the water casts new light on the island. While every trip will offer you its own surprises, for us, you can't beat kayaking amongst the weirs, seeing Swallowtail from the water, or being followed by seals, all with the sun casting its Golden Hour glow.See more..
My tween/teen boys, mother in law and I spent a wonderful half day on the sea kayaks with Bruce. We had some incredible up close encounters with curious Harbor Seals, saw some bald eagles and even a Minke whale! Bruce is extremely knowledgeable about the local area and wildlife, and he shared so many interesting facts with us. He took plenty of time at the beginning to teach us novice kayakers how to use the foot pedals and paddles efficiently, and took plenty of breaks to ensure everyone enjoyed themselves. I would highly recommend booking a kayak trip with Seascape if you visit Passamaquoddy Bay and Deer Island, it’s worth it!See more..
5.0Red Rock Adventure(41 reviews) - Great Sunset Paddle Eco Tours • Hiking & Camping Tours • Kayaking & Canoeing
This trip has to be timed with high tides, and when the timing works like it did for us, it is priceless. Adam and Nick were very knowledgeable, both about kayaking and the areas we would see around St. Martins. We were well prepped (sea kayaking is much different than lake) before heading out. We made to a remote beach in daylight, and had a nice snack of smoked salmon, cheese, crackers and cucumber. Just enough refuel for the paddle back! We watched the sunset on our return trip and pulled into St. Martins in twilight. Thanks very much Red Rock - can't wait to do this again.See more..
We were accommodated eventhough the place was super busy with groups, and driven up with our gear for a 17.5 km paddle down the Kedgwick River. Staff was super helpful and knowledgeable, and even though it was really busy, we managed to pass the earlier groups and had the quiet, cool, pristine river to ourselves. Paddleing was mostly leisurely, with a few areas that were more tricky with low water and rocks, and some fairly easy Rapids. We made good time, swam 3 times, picnic, and were back in about 4h. Again upon our return staff was awesome. Thanks so much!See more..

Absolutely amazing day! Stephen our host was there to welcome us. He showed us how to make and cook traditional foods. The plank salmon and bread with blue berries were delicious! We had time to talk, connect, share stories and learn more about what a special place Metepenagiag First Nation has been and continues to be. He then guided us through the most beautiful river where we saw, fish hawks diving into the water and even some eagles. Our group included people of all ages and we were all able to enjoy this time. Truly grateful for this experience. Highly recommend! See more..
A great place to rent kayaks and enjoy nature along the Kennebecasis River. Very pleasant & helpful staff. Check them out on their website. They offer canoe rentals & provide other services. I can’t say enough about our recent visit! Definitely will be returning!See more..
I came with family, two sixtyish and two thirtyish. I was the only experienced sea kayaker, and both my brother and I have severe walking problems. Luciano gave us a great tour along the Northumberland Strait coast, to the bridge and back, with a nice lunch on a deserted beach. He is an expert trip leader and gave the best safety introduction I have heard (and that were many). The boats and stuff were excellent quality. A great day!See more..
