Nice Morning Hike
We had a great hike around Odell Park. It was lovely with very few people around. We visited in late June and didn’t know how bad the mosquitoes would be then. If you visit around that time, you may want to protect yourself before walking in the woods.

Gorgeous Wooded Trails Within the City
Frederictonians are blessed to have Odell Park within walking distance of the city center. It offers many kilometres of beautiful walking trails, a botanical garden and a lovely area for picnics. It is a great spot for a family outing or meeting up with a friend.

First Visit, but not the last.
Had some extra time to kill before going to my destination and decided to go for a walk. Not being familiar with the park decided to pick a direction and head out. Wound up walking up a long hill that got my heart rate up and found me breathing harder. Noted there were a number of side trails branching off, but decided to see how far up the trail I was on went. Got to the top and turned right, ultimately winding up wandering through the Botanical Gardens before reconnecting with a trail that took me back down to the parking lot. Good workout in a very relaxed setting. Will explore further on my next visit to the city, and may even try riding my bike in the park, as well.
