    Magical
This was the main purpose of my visit to Maine. It's too beautiful to imagine. If you don't love Eleanor before your visit, you most definitely will after. Don't miss Eleanor's Tea - the docents don't use scripts, they just tell their favorite stories so each tea can be completely different. We drove all over the island and walked several trails. It's a paradise and a wonderful partnership with our Canadian neighbor. The ArriveCanada app can be tricky if you're not staying in Canada - the trick is to use an address in Canada as your hotel. Any U.S. address will not fit the apps format.

    Elenore's Tea a must!
This was our second visit to the Roosevelt's summer retreat. Our first was 26: years ago. A wonderful example of the period and history of the family. The tea is new and not to be missed. It's focus is the amazing person Elenore was and her many accomplishments. They served her favorite tea and FDR's fav cookies. There is no fee charged and the docents are charming and knowledgeable.
