    Sightseeing Tours
    Campobello Sightseeing image
Having lived on the island for many years, Peter is very knowledgeable about both the historical aspects of Campobello as well as local lore. He is enthusiastic and shares his love of history and nature easily as he gives a three hour comfortable van tour of the island. Our group of four adults appreciated Peter’s thoughtfulness. He called me the day before to see if we needed anything and suggested we leave our car on Deer Island. This made the ferry trip more enjoyable, saved us money, and ensured we had no difficulty getting on the ferry to Campobello. He picked us up at the ferry, stopped at the Roosevelt Visitors Center for washrooms, toured various parts of the whole island, and returned to the Center for lunch and a tour of the Roosevelt Cottage given by Center guides.he returned us to the ferry in good time. Peter gave each couple a receipt for our tour and explained the New Brunswick 20% travel rebate program which we had not been aware of. A very enjoyable day! Highly recommend Peter’s tour. See more..

    Head Harbour Lightstation image
This site is fabulous. East coast scenery at its best in the Campobello area. You can see Deer Island & Easport Maine from this site. Bring you binoculars & cameras. The day we were there the whales were also active in the bay. Low tide is essential in order to take in this site. You walk on the floor of the bay & rock outcroppings at low tide for access to the lighthouse. There are 3 sets of very steep stairs to access the ighthouse itself. Individuals should be aware that this trek to the lighthouse requires a lot of physical exertion. A small fee ($5) is applicable. See more..

  5. 5.0 Captain Riddles Whale Watching (1 review)
    - Captain Riddles is a must-do if on Campobello Island
    Nature & Wildlife Tours
We loved our first trip so much, we booked another one 3 days later! Captain Brandon and his son are locals, who clearly know and love the waters around Campobello Island. The boat is smaller than the glitzy whale watching tours out of Saint Andrews, but it enables them to respond more quickly as things evolve. Our first trip out, Captain was able to maneuver the boat, with his knowledge of the tidal currents, so that we had a Minke whale repeatedly in our sights. In fact, as close as maybe 20 yards! But that said, he is very respectful of the marine life, and doesn't crowd them. (It was the Minke's choice to surface so close to us!) We didn't think there was anyway he could beat the first trip, but just wanted to be out on the water when we booked the second. That one surpassed the first! Captain found a porpoise feeding frenzy. It was surreal to be surrounded by so many porpoises, diving around and under us! And he was able to give us a view of a finback whale on that trip as well. Absolutely spectacular! See more..

  9. 4.5 Mulholland Point Lighthouse (84 reviews)
    - Great views and a nice place to picnic.
Points of Interest & Landmarks • Lighthouses
    Mulholland Point Lighthouse image
I love lighthouses and have dragged my husband along winding roads some of which are unpaved "just" to see a lighthouse. Last year when we visited Acadia and Schoodic, we made our way to Lubec to see the West Quoddy lighthouse. When in Lubec, we saw the Mulholland Lighthouse from a distance but couldn't cross into Canada due to the pandemic. This year I was determined to go. Getting to this lighthouse was easy--just cross the Roosevelt International Bridge and you are there! The lighthouse was constructed in 1884 to guide vessels through the Lubec Narrows, the passage between Campobello Island and Maine. There is a picnic area and steps leading down to the water. This is the only lighthouse shared by both Canada and the US and is located within Roosevelt International Park. It has great views of the FDR Bridge and Lubec across the narrows. Go and enjoy! 10. 4.5 Capt. Riddle's Whale Watch Cruises (23 reviews)
    - Can't beat the Cap!
    Dolphin & Whale Watching
Capt. Riddle's Whale Watch Cruises image
We had an amazing time with Brandon and his son Grady. We brought FOUR kids ages 1-7 on board and took them to see whales, porpoises, egals, seals and finished up with some mackerel fishing. I've been on several whale watching tours, but have never had this amount of fun. He and his son were so kind and considerate with the kids. We had a party of eight and didn't feel crowded or strapped for time to get in everything. If you are looking for a taste of the east coast, a true look into island life, call Brandon. He's straight up, patient, reliable, knowledgeable and truly a saint! All of the extra fish we caught he brought back to a retired couple on Campobello Island. This was a lifelong memory I am very thankful we made with Brandon and Grady, and I can't wait for our next adventure with them! See more..
