    Inukpak Outfitting image
Together with a friend I did the dog sledding and the snow mobile tour and it was certainly one of the best experiences in my life! The guides very always very friendly and helpful, we could do the tour in our pace and the nature we saw was just stunning. Also, considering that it was a personal tour (just the two of us) the tours are great value for money and you are able to enjoy a tour that is personalized for your. Also, the tour guides where always very happy to explain the history of the region, the difficulties of living there but also how rewarding it is to live in this beautiful paradise. If you want to experience the Arctic then definitely go with this company! They even provided us with full clothing. We were basically outside for 4-5 hours and my whole body still felt warm and well protected. They definitely cared very much about our wellbeing. 10/10 recommend!! See more..

Travelled the first two weeks of July 2017, spent one night at the start, three nights at the end in the Parks Canada Warden station: the staff were welcoming and friendly (even invited us for stew) and the accommodations were basic but comfortable. The park itself is amazing. we saw wolves, polar bear tracks, musk ox, hare, birds, flowers, etc. Experienced everything from heat to snow to rain to dust to just plain beautiful. Amazing scenery and a place where few will ever see: more people summit Everest than visit this park! See more..

This is one of the most beautiful places in Nunavut. The valley with the Grinnell River is amazing and worth the walk. There are very few facilities but there are paths - sometimes in the summer there is a pavilion that's open with restrooms. The paths can be rough and you need good walking shoes. Occasionally you see wild dogs and I have heard (but not seen) bears so take a study stick with you. See more..
