We participated in their zipline activity. the staff were so courteous and helpful. One young lad was particularly afraid of heights. The staff helped, encouraged this young lad, he completed the climb and the zip lining and was so proud of his accomplishment. I recommend this adventure. Even though the initial rope climb was a bit scary, it was totally safe See more..

We went to Treeosix, 4 times in 2 weeks and it was AMAZING!!! The staff is so nice, joyful, helpful and friendly. Axe throwing was really fun! The giant swing was very scary at first, but the staff is very encouraging. The climbing wall was challenging but a lot of fun! We went on the zip line adventure 2 times and had a blast! - Loved it! Setting was awesome!
Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Speciality Museums
    Western Development Museum image
What a great setup. This museum is set up, inside, to resemble a typical street in early days. All the displays fit into each of the establishments that they belonged too. There were seperate parts of the building from this street for automobile history, farm machinery history, and the history of Sadkatchewan including their indigenous and metis population. Like all museums I could have used a couple of days to see it all and absorb the information. We did stop in the cafe for some pie and ice cream in between displays to gather our energy to finish. Well done and well worth the trip. There is a fee involved. See more..

    - Gorgeous gardens, free tours every 30 minutes
Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Historic Sites • Points of Interest & Landmarks • Government Buildings
    Legislative Building image
As a part of our long drive from Winnipeg to Saskatoon, we decided to stop at the legislature in Regina. The building looks beautiful and the gardens in front of it complement the building itself. They have the statue of Queen Elizabeth II in front, pretty fitting for the city's name. Also, at the very front of the gardens was the first premier, Walter Scott. We went for a tour and since it was hot outside, we were all placed in a waiting room containing some artwork and historical pieces. Guests come from different provinces too, not just within the province. The tour guide came in and we were escorted throughout the building. The paintings at the atrium, the statues at each corner of the atirum, the legislative chamber itself, the library, and the galleries of each legislature, and the past premiers, governors-general and indigenous leaders prior to its establishment are also shown. Overall, was great, well recommended! See more..

    - Historic Fort Walsh Experience
Friday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Spent 2-3 hours Historic Sites
Fort Walsh National Historic Site image
My wife and I spent our anniversary in nearby Elkwater, and decided to Google how to get to Fort Walsh. Don’t do it. After navigating backroads, fields and literally driving through someone’s yard, we eventually made it. The scenic drive is amazing, and the parking lot clean and spacious. The newer interpretive center with museum is rich with history and the staff were informative. We had a quick basic lunch (nothing fancy, wraps and hotdogs), then we proceeded to walk the path to the fort. It was a bit of a trek down to the gates. We very much enjoyed the buildings, history and the inviting staff who answered all our questions. We strolled slightly outside the fort and walked on the Métis trail. It was very good. Once we got to the top of the hill by the center, we sat in the “red” chairs and took in the scenery. It’s a well worth it trip to see, and overflowing with Canadian history. If you have a chance, see this if you can! See more..
  19. 4.5 Things to Do in Saskatchewan (127 reviews)
    - Worth the drive
Spent More than 3 hours National Parks
Things to Do in Saskatchewan image
Great place to spend a day. 3 or 4 hours minimum for the east block. Not yet tried the west block. Friendly staff at the office, admission is cheap $5 for seniors. Good walking shoes for the walking tour is recommended, the driving tour is easier on the feet but still involves out of the car to get the best bang for your buck. Not the easiest place to find and does involve driving on a gravel road for 10or 12 miles. All in all an exceptional place to visit. See more..
  20. 4.5 Prince Albert National Park (118 reviews)
    - Narrows is an Excellent campground out of the way but worth it
    National Parks
    Prince Albert National Park image
We checked out the campsites all over the park and opted for the Narrows which is about half hour North west of the town site. We loved our site 67 overlooking the water but would have preferred 65 it was the nicest for water view. Excellent clean flush bathrooms and the best firewood ever. We loved that we could self register and it was quiet but i am sure all the campsites in the park are busy during peak season. There is kayak, boat and canoe rental but we had our own and launched from campsite which has a steep bank but doable otherwise there is a 10.00 fee at the store. We kept to shore as wind and waves unpredictable. The little store only has fishing, rentals and licensing supplies. The park is beautiful. we already had a park pass for the year. The mosquitos were terrible and had just come out coming in late May may have been better. Would come here again ! See more..

  26. 4.5 Beaver Creek Conservation Area (93 reviews)
    - Very good place to spend time during weekend near Saskatoon
    Nature & Wildlife Areas
    Beaver Creek Conservation Area image
There are four trails which can fit different types of people, we tried three of them (not the longest one). The views are pretty good! Lots of birds although we visit during noon time. However, we didn’t see any other wild animals (I was expecting to see beavers), maybe not the best time during the day. The shortest trails is only take around 15mins, which is good for us (grandma is over 80 years old). Very good place to visit during weekend, very close to Saskatoon. Thumb up! See more..

  28. 4.5 Mosaic Stadium (90 reviews)
    - Simply Amazing
    Arenas & Stadiums
    Mosaic Stadium image
I took my kid to the season opener against Toronto on a last minute decision because I wanted to check Mosaic stadium out. I have been to numerous stadiums around Canada and the USA and this one is easily one of the best. It has a huge concourse with great food options, numerous bathrooms and my seats had a perfect view of the field. The replay screen is absolutely massive and there are numerous other screens everywhere in the building. There was a rain delay due to an intense thunderstorm and 30,000+ people easily fit in the concourse which gives you an idea of how much room there is in the building. Do yourself a favor and go check this place out as it really is an amazing place. Saskatchewan should be super proud of it. See more..
