Loved it! Setting was awesome!

What a great setup. This museum is set up, inside, to resemble a typical street in early days. All the displays fit into each of the establishments that they belonged too. There were seperate parts of the building from this street for automobile history, farm machinery history, and the history of Sadkatchewan including their indigenous and metis population. Like all museums I could have used a couple of days to see it all and absorb the information. We did stop in the cafe for some pie and ice cream in between displays to gather our energy to finish. Well done and well worth the trip. There is a fee involved.

100 Years of Saskatchewan is my favourite
We went on a day where attendance was low from bad weather which is honestly the times I enjoy going to a museum the most. My boyfriend and I spent probably 3 hours wandering around. We really enjoyed the 100 years of Saskatchewan display. Give yourself lots of time to go through this and read through the timeline. There were lots of interesting facts I did know know before and was neat to connect dots from towns we are from. Will definitely go back again!

    WDM never disappoints
This is one of the most interesting, interactive museums I have ever visited. I love that you can climb up into the locomotive and walk into the many yesteryear stores and buildings. You really feel as if you are walking down an old-time street in a small western town. They also have a great car display and the Christmas displays are a "must do"!
