To All who have been to and appreciated this location through the years and to those who hoped to visit but hadn't yet: Last night (10/2/22) another terrible fire burned through Halsey National Forest. The tower was consumed in flames along with the state 4-H lodge and cabins just up the road. As many mentioned here, this tower offered a breathtaking view of the hills and forest. I hope that they will rebuild it so that future generations (including my kids) can go and take in the same majesty that so many experienced through the years. See more..
